not 100% true, "new Member" can't upload attachments, but however a "new Member" will become a "Member" after a extremely small number of posts.

"senior member" dose not come with any new benefits and you only get it by posting a lot.

you can also give yourself a custom title by clicking on Edit Profile over here:
