Exporting facegen doesn't work anymore Creation Kit

Hi,

I've used the creation kit for quite some time now, making custom npcs and what not, I've always used the CTRL+F4 after making a new npc to export facegen data and it used to work every time.

Now since I've reinstalled Skyrim, CTRL+F4 doesn't fix the grey face bug anymore. It does create 2 files in the correct folder, one .dds and one .tga but no matter what I try, in-game my npcs can't get rid of the grey face.

Any hints on what could be causing this?

EDIT: I'm using Mod Organizer with custom textures for both genders

1 of the fixes that people found.
Try renaming texture folder "character assets" from Character folder and then export it again. CK is bugged with exporting data when this folder exist.
