[Visual bug] ENB

Hello,

I'm having a rather strange bug with lights and fires with my ENB.

I'm using Realvision, with all its requirements in combination with Enhanced Lights and FX.

Fires look really strange and lights are overly bright.

If I turn the ENB effect off, everything looks normal (just bland ?).

I searched around and found a particle fix and subsurface fix on the ENB site itself, installed them but sadly no change.

I was hoping maybe someone here has an idea of what might be causing this?

The effect on candles is due to the setting "EnableComplexFireLights" in your enbseries. It's surely too high. This setting is very sensible and must be used carefully.

A bad setting of real vision is probably the reason of this extreme yellow/white color.

The ugly result on embers is due to your ember meshes. For decent embers, you have 2 solutions:

1- the particle patch (this mod contains new meshes for fireplaces in inns) http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1499

2- Embers HD https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62425

New meshes and new textures for all fireplaces. It's really clean.

EDIT:

I tried your suggestions and sadly it still didnt work, you did point me in the right direction with mentioning meshes.

I just systematically checked my mods, to see if it might be a mod conflict and well...I FINALLY found the culprit!

It seems the mod "Sneak Tools" causes this, I removed it and everything is working as it should!

Apparantly it does something weird with light sources it seems...

Hi,

I have chacked the mod Sneak tools. Effectively, It adds scripts on candles, chandeliers and candles meshes. So, you are correct, it's the culprit.

If you still want to use it, load it first, then use other meshes replacers.

That's the second time in as many months that Sneak Tools has proven to be the unlikely culprit. I can't remember what the other problem was but I don't think it wasn't ENBs/lighting. (May be wrong though).

Well, when a mod bring too much imcompatibilities rather than solutions and improvement, then i suggest that your remove the mod.

Well, make it simple but make it solid :)

Which is the reason I've removed it ;)

Could've been fun, but way to much hassle imo

Hey,

i have a visual problem as well and need help. When i move my mouse slightly to the left (3rd person & first person) the ground becomes darker and returns normal when i look to the right again. (see screenshots) I am using snapdragon enb with nla.esp and ELFX interiors. However i played around a little by disabling and enabling either one and tried using ELE lite and stuff but nothing changed. Has anyone an idea? Thanks :)

Stop projecting, lol. See a psychologist instead.

At least single me out for my comment, other guy came here to help. Save your excessive & unwarranted hostility for your own self loathing and misery.

Okay, you fuck off and have your love-in elsewhere. This is tech support. Respect the forum rules. Oh, and spare me your silly, superficial, labelling.
