FO3 sexout repository?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the quick response, SirDuke.

I have been working on  getting TTW to work properly with my Fallout games (I have the disk version of Fallout 3, and the Steam copy of Fallout New Vegas) and my internet download speed is minimal, so it'll take a while...

This is what FO3 needs most.

But;

If in ANY kind possible,

use Fallout New Vegas instead, and play

Tale of two Wastelands

That is the whole, complete Fallout 3 with the better mechanics of New Vegas.

I prefer real FO3 to TTW... New Vegas features that are actually good like cooking and hardcore mode are already ported to FO3. Or wit Iron sights already has its own version that can be modded in.

Fallout New vegas has way tankier enemies than FO3 (all Bethesda games are bad for this but Oblivion and new Vegas are the worst), enemies take miltiple mag dumps to the head and enemies don't die.

FO3 is one of the better Bethesda games in terms of enemies that are less tanky and more realistic...

TTW also gives you way too much money and caps for the DC wasteland.... as well as making the difficulty curve imbalanced with extra weapons from New Vegas.

TTW also respawns the random encounter zones differently and TTW respawns are 1) less frequent 2) have a set limit before respawning stops altogether 3) less dangerous and difficult than true FO3.

Random encounters are one of the best and most magical part of FO3 and the TTW version of them suck compared to proper FO3

Other problems with TTW

1) it's massive and limits how many other mods can be installed in New Vagas

2) you lose the ability to simply play New Vagas, you must play Fallout 3 before getting to Vagas.  You can't just start a new game and wake up in doc Mitchell's house.

If FO3 doesn't need many mods to get equivalent quality of life features of New Vagas, most load orders for FO3 have plenty of room for more plug-ins. But New Vagas load orders are 1) more limited to begin with being a more unstable game 2) Vegas has lots of good mods even before modding porn into it... I would rather keep my FO3 mods and NV mods separate so I have more stability with more mods.

having a proper  working Sexout version for true FO3 would be really appreciated....

FYI. I've seen you post this multiple times, but there is a mod to allow you to choose to start New Vegas or Fallout 3 first on a new game.

I don't have an answer to your request, apart from noting there is a lack of mod makers for Fallout 3, so unless it is easy solvable, I don't expect to see the fixes you'd like to see.

***I don't know if the limited-plugin fix for Fallout New Vegas (and therefor TTW) also works for Fallout 3.

I take it you've never played with Broken Steel? The enemies added by it are far tankier than anything in New Vegas short of the legendary bloatfly

It is true that Broken Steel enemies are tanky, but you still have DR (with low percentage) instead of DT. Maby I'm not remembering BS properly without mods but all the BS enemies are

1) end game enemies

2) a bit too tough, but with a properly built character still fairly easy.

3) mutant/abominations

FONV and FO4 have basic raiders taking miltiple head shots, and NCR Rangers taking multiple whole mag dumps to the head, and the whole game is like that not just the endgame enemies.

Thank God for mods or Bethesda games would be unplayable.
