Devious Devices (and Cursed loot) SSE automatically unequips

So i've been having this problem since a few Skyrim SE updates, but basically what happens is when i'm wearing a chastity belt, chastity bra or a corset of any kind and equip any other body armor, the devices unequip VISUALLY. When i open my inventory they are still equipped and function as they should. I don't know if this is intended but i liked the way you could always see the devices.

Also, after i load a save, the devices are equipped but unequip a second after it has finished loading. i have looked into the mcm for anything related to it but couldn't find anything.

If anyone has seen this problem before and/or knows the solution i would be grateful.

I never used SSE, but that sounds a lot like the Device Hider feature.

 

Go to the Devious Underneath (1) tab in the Devious Devices MCM. Then make sure that the Item Hider Slot is set to None. That'll disable the feature and keeps the devices visible even if you have armor on.

The first part definitly sounds like device hider and is intended, but still possible to avoid. Unequipping items after loading a save isn't, though. But i never playes SSE either, i recommend you ask in the appropiate section.

Ah thank you! this was indeed the problem. i must've selected it sometime by accident. When starting new games i always use the load setting to prevent me fiddling with the settings for over 15 min. thats why i couldn't figure it out.
