Reginald_001 Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Does anyone know what the underlying cause is of this issue? I added my own mod, to override the outfits of settlers with EasyGirl outfits I created. It worked for a couple of saves/loads.. but suddenly about a third of my settlers come out looking like this abomination: This started when I tried the 'SettlersFaceFix' mod, which was supposed to remove the smudges from faces. So I disabled that mod, but the bug persists now.. Is it my save that's been corrupted? I have a workaround: SLM the settler, choose a default face, and it gets fixed. But then... after some fast travelling my settlers turn INVISIBLE. And I can only select them in workshop mode (because this outlines them). I then see parts of the INVISIBLE model STRETCHED to a point far in the horizon. Then the only fix is to disable the settler and spawn a new one.
Invictusblade Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 download a copy of FO4Edit - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737 load all of your mods using FO4Edit have a look at SettlersFaceFix.esp/l NPC's and check out the Face morphs (at the bottom of the list) I would imagine it would be under 000188B0 Eyes and look at the values if they are high then change them such as -21 to -0.21 and this should work assuming that this is the problem and I have no idea how many you will have to change
D_ManXX2 Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 mutated settlers. Well that mod did fix the face just not in a positive way.

I actually restored most of them to default. But it didn't fix the issue, even after loading/saving/fast travel/etc.. Then I disabled the mod. Same thing happened. Somehow my savegame had gotten corrupted. So I've kept the mod disabled and I started a new game and the issue is gone. It was early on so I didn't mind.
