But I saw the character has a small or flat option so that's certainly appealing!

It's all good, mate. My mod only covers the introductory chapter for now so it'll be a long while for me to make a full version that covers the DLC.

Yeah, as the one who only consumes other peoples mods I fully understand how time consuming they are to make and appreciate greatly yalls efforts.

 

Side note, I know now that the Sword Nudist text mod isn't yours, but do you know how far into the game the latest update goes? I can't seem to really figure that out.

The nude reactions mod for Sword/Shield finishes right before you get to the part where you have to battle Hop on the eastern bridge of Hammerlocke.

So basically, after collecting the 5th badge and returning to Hammerlocke where there'll be some cutscenes. The mod will tell you when it has reached its end.

 

If you haven't already, Isle of Armor content has also been modded but only until you receive a uniform after beating the Dojo Master.

The Crown Tundra has also been edited if you want that bit of winter nudity, but it ends right before you do your first Dynamax Adventure so it isn't long.

I believe both DLC will be focused on after the base game has been finished.

Oh wow! that's actually way more than I expected! I have a good chunk of main game still to play with the mod. I haven't dipped into the Isle of Armor or Crown Tundra, but sounds like there is a pinch more there too if I dive into those bits.

Working on a better nude valkyrie for Gauntlet than the one that's already widespread across the internet.  Although, in that version it appears the modder edited the valkyrie's shot so that she shoots boobs.  I'm greatly considering keeping that feature.

What you've said is all fair, but after having some more time to think it over, I think my actual concern is moreso that--due to space limitations--you'd have to overwrite and replace dialogue to get the nude references in, making it stray that much further from the vanilla experience, but as you said: it's a difference of opinion and will be optional anyway. I'm currently working on a mod for Claire in classic RE2.  This isn't just a texture swap, but a remesh.  It isn't quite ready as the textures need some work.

 

RE2's meshes are not skinned, so it always looks blocky and certain animations look wack.  As part of the new mesh, I adjusted some of the bone locations to help with that.  I kept breast size the same as the original, but after it's finished I'll consider larger sizes.

I had a feeling this would be more difficult, but I wasn't expecting this.

 

While its possible for me to make a mod for MY Character, its near impossible to make something that will work for anyone else. Here is why.

 

Your character's texture(yep the whole body is one, minus hair and face) in the PSP series is generated dynamically on the fly with all these criteria:

1. Skin Color

2. Skin Details (eg Beast Tattoos)

3. Clothes Top

4. Clothes Legs

5. Shoes

 

If any single one of these changes the texture is updated and PPSSPP will generate a new hash value for it. Meaning one will need to identify this new hash and re link the texture. Seems like an easy fix right? WRONG As every piece of clothing/shoes can cave wildly different UV values, so using this texture on another set will break.

 

Also skin color is based on a sliding scale of both Horizontal and Vertical values that's just to much to accommodate for.

 

Lastly in order to have a proper model you need to have the bikini top, bikini bottoms, and basic swimwear sandals. While whole bikini can drop early in game, you cant replace the high heels, and you wont have control of the color. To purchase the individual parts with the proper colors, you wont have access to purchase till the postgame...

 

And you can't use the underwear model as both the butt and boobs are not model correctly for a nude texture. So its a little strange I have to equip the nude clothes

 

Not sure whats the best way to proceed, if there is even a way to.
