How to get the spriteset onto other hack/vanilla SoR2 rom:

- Case 1.

For vanilla SoR2 rom/hacks that don't change Blaze's moveset to the extreme:

1. Download Pancake 2.

2. Open Pk2 then the rom you want to paste the sprite into.

3. Edit > Inport > "Import from other rom". Yes, inport.

4. Choose default.txt.

5. Choose the rom I uploaded above.

6. Profit.

Note: Specifically for Bare Knuckles 2/Syndicate War related hacks, you might need to choose other than default.txt in step 4.

 

- Case 2.

For hacks that have unique movesets for Blaze/"this spriteset sucks ass, virtt":

1. Download Pancake 2.

2. Open Pk2 then the rom you want to paste a spriteset into.

3. Edit > Export > "Spritesheet".

4. Download the sprites you want or the one I've posted a page before (or make one. I would love more variety, preferably thiccy uwu).

5. Use graphics editor (Photoshop, GraphicsGale, GIMP, Ms Paint etc.) to arrange the sprites into the spritesheet you exported.

6. Back to Pk2, open the rom again.

7. Edit > Inport > "Spritesheet".

8. Profit.

I want to put my favorite SoR4 Nude Blaze mod by SrJustice here:

into SoR2. This is a very low effort arrangements, using GIMP to descale the sprites without any significant editing put into it. Although I do already have plagiarized a couple of SrJustice's Blaze standing pose in attempt to polish the look with 16 color palette, but I won't put it in yet since like... it's only 2 frame...

 

SoR4 Blaze 0.02:

SoR2.NakedSoR4Blaze.base.md

- Air Combo added.

- Faster Off Special.

- Smoother Blitz.

- Smoother Back Attack (SoR4 Def Special, no iframe).

- Smoother Def Special (SoR4 Ultra, iframe)

- Running placeholder added.

 

List of possible combo (that my noob ass could think of and actually pull off):

- OffSp > Blitz > F.Kick

- P > P > B.Atk

- G.Throw > Blitz > Any K

- Stationary K > F/D.Kick (repeatable till offscreen)

- Grab > DefSp (for max dmg)

 

I know I said Jiggles > Juggles, but the tutorial was basic enough that even a dumbfuck like me could do it in an hour. So there you go. Air juggling. I also tried to enable running, but I don't know how to turn off the "skkrrt" sounds. It's so damn annoying. Plus I also don't know how to make her keep running horizontally. In the end, I turned running off and left the running sprites from SoR3 inside for future sprites redraw. Next agenda, back to redrawing.

- Switched Back Attack to SoR4 Def Special animation (no iframe).

- Switched Def Special to SoR4 Ultra animation (iframe).

- Adjusted damagebox locations to fit the sprites.

 

I'm thinking about making air juggling and running a thing. By what I've read so far, it's seems easy to implement (this sentence's gonna bite me hard later). But I think I will polish the sprites first. Jiggles > Juggles.

IPS files are patches and MD are roms. Maybe the checksums needs to be fixed? I haven't been doing it since it works just fine on RetroArch's Genesis Plus GX.

I really dig this, it's really cool and has that authentic feel to it. Are you planning on releasing this anytime soon?

Good news! I checked, and this game seems to work fine on normal tile editors:

I won't do it since I'm in the middle of working on another game's nude patch, but there shouldn't be any technical problems for whoever takes on the project.

I found a whole tutorial on it a little while after I posted that comment, it might take a good deal of effort still. One would have to get the palletes sorted out or the design of sprite work would take twice as long if it's going to look good.

Hey, so this is a thing now. Neat game called Void Stranger, and it's purely pixel art. Someone has already started on adding nipples to breasts and such, but this game could use some extra help in fully nude modding it.

Just stumbled across Mesen Emulator in another thread. I feel like this could open up some awesome opportunities for NES and SNES nude mods that have too low resolutions to make a decent nude mod.
