I'm still offering to import spritesheets and screenshots for NES, Genesis, SNES, GB/GBC and GBA pending there's not anything getting in the way like unknown compressions, not enough tiles/palettes or something. Take screenshots with the emulator(s), arrange them, edit them, don't increase the image sizes and make sure you save as .png and never .jpg or else you'll break the image. Imaynotbehere4long Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 (edited) Okay, wow, it's blowing my mind that APPARENTLY there's no nude patch for any of the Valis platformers. I'm not above making my own like I did for Eyra, but...*surely* someone else has already gone through the effort, right? Y'all seem to be good at finding obscure sites that host retro nude patches; would someone be willing to double-check those, just in case they have one and it just isn't being indexed by search engines? EDIT: It didn't occur to me to check if the graphics were compressed, and it turns out, the Genesis/Mega Drive port of Valis 1 is, in fact, compressed (and there doesn't appear to be a way to decompress them, or maybe I'm using the pre-existing Genesis decompressor wrong?). Mod Leaner Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Ok, so I can use YY-CHR or Tile Layer Pro to edit the sprites. But it's still limited by the colors from the palette. Is it possible to change the color? I learned that easy done with FCEUX however it only work with NES. How to do similar to SNES and GBA game?
