Load order and ESL flagged esps...?

Anybody can help me to solve my problem, please? I have 280- ish mods in my load order, a lot of these mods are Esl-s (this is why). Now If I understand correctly these light plugins occupy the 254. plugin slot, so I need to deactivate a single plugin if I have 255, so there is no conflict.

Warning from loot :You have a normal plugin and at least one light master sharing the FE load order index. Deactivate a normal plugin or all your light masters to avoid potential issues.

On Reddit: The new Creation Club content - ESL plugins - don't behave like normal plugins. I assume you're aware of the normal 255-plugin limit? When you use ESL plugins - any number of them - all of them are merged into one plugin that takes the 255th slot. So, if you use any Creation Club content, your plugin limit is lowered to 254. LOOT is telling you that you have both Creation Club content and 255 normal plugins. You can solve this in two ways - either disable a single normal plugin, or all Creation Club content, to free up the 255th slot.

I am using Mod organiser and I do have Creation club content.

If I would like to use ESL flagged ESPs in my load order where they should go? How to keep my "ESL merge" plugin slot free?

Where these should go into the load order to not cause any issues? Shall I have my 254 normal mods and just put the rest of the esls to the bottom?
Also creation club mods are not using the 255th to store information? Wouldn't that cause a problem if another mod already takes that place? (And if you use esl mods there will be definitely mode mods than 255 so something will take that slot)

How should I do it to keep it crash-free?

Doesn't matter where ESLs go. As the note you pasted here says, they all get merged into a single esp at runtime.

You have too many esps active. Period.  Merge some of them with a tool like "Merge Plugins".

So that means ESLs are not for bypassing the plugin limit?

They are sort of, you can have 254 normal plugins, and 75 esls. You just can't have 255 normal plugins and even one esl. All esls are counted as the 255th plugin together.

Soo...I can have 254 normal plugins and after that I can start loading up with ESL-s and it still should be stable? ESL mods can go anywhere in the load order?

Can I have  creation club mod  as well?

You can have maximum of 254 .esm and .esp files that are not flagged as ESL, including DLCs. Everything ESL flagged goes to 255 slot, including CC content since they are .esl.

Load order actually does matter though. Flagging an .esp with ESL doesn't mean it's automatically loaded last, it still respects the load order rules you are used to, ESL flag just tells the engine to use a different index.

In Mo if you have 250 esps and for example 30 esls you will definitely have more than 255 mods altogether because even Mo just counts the total plugin numbers (even if they disabled they still count). Most utilities will give you a warning that you surpassed the plugin limit (Loot Wre Bash Tessedit). As long as you have only 254 esps you should be fine then and it is safe then to ignore the warnings? Is that right? (this is what I meant to ask:) )

You can check the number of active .esp and .esm plugins if you mouse over the counter in MO2, not sure if MO has it too. That number should not exceed 254.
