Missing gloss effect

I just reinstalled skyrim recently and decided to use HeroedeLeyenda's animated vagina with sweaty texture. The effect seems to only  work on my character tho and it disappears whenever i reload my saves, female npcs don't have sweaty skin either. I've tried tweaking my femalebody_1 with nifskope, reinstalling my body mod, reinstalling skyrim again, using an ENB but to no avail.

Anyone here's an expert on body textures? Please help me out as the slight problem has been much of a hassle and I can't enjoy skyrim as much as i used to. I swear, sweaty texture works flawlessly on my laptop (Intel) but it just simply keeps disappearing on my PC (NVIDIA).

Are you using a custom race for your character?

 

Do the female NPC show sweaty skin if you take their armor completely off using a follower mod? Instead of just in the armor but showing skin? Cause that body mesh that loads with the armor is not the one in character assets, though it is supposed to load the textures but not the Glossiness and Specular settings from the nif.

Hello RohZima (Big fan here)! I really appreciate your support but it seems like I'm not using any custom race mod and also have tried to "removeallitems" a standalone follower (whose body mesh and texture have already been replaced with mine) but to the same result. One thing I spotted tho was when I decided to make another new save game then took of my character's clothes, the game freezed for a split second and the sweaty effect was all gone. 

Sorry If I made any grammatical errors (I'm not a native), but has anyone faced the same problem before? Please let me know how to fix it.

If you have the effect for one second and disappear only can be caused by a mod that dinamically change the body model or the textures. I know, for example, PSQ(Player Sucubus Quest) and WetFunction.

Can be a problem with an overlay(tatoos) that have some bad defined.

Maybe a mod is addiding an item with a diferent armor mesh or any transparent or invisible item.

In last, can be a spell with special effects over the body.

 

Try remove ALL yours mods and let only the base game plus blody model.

If the problem disappear is a mod making incorrect things.

Thank you for your advice GenioMaestro but I have finally fixed my pesky issue. It was not because of any of my mods but rather a problem in my SkyrimPrefs.ini tho I haven't figured out which line did it.
