thecoon101 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 What is the SSE animations limit? I have FNIS xxl installed which can support 20k animations but my game crashes on  load anytime it has a little over than 12k anims.  Is there anything i can do to increase this limit? Is it hardware dependent or something like that?
Guest Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 The game itself start to be instable if you go over 10K anims. This applies to both Oldrim and SSE.
MadMansGun Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 the common crash zone is 12000-14000. there are some cases of people getting up to 16000-18000 before crashing but no one knows what the secret is.
spoonsinger Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I can never get above 10k either on LE or SSE. (Even with the XXL). So I suspect there might be a personal system setup limitation as well. (or just depends on mod Loadout - I tend to run to 253 (inc merged) all the time)
Kaarinah Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I'm up to 12k now, and I think I'm on my system's limit, after the last added game has become a bit unstable and at times does weird stuff. It's still playable, but I'm planning to see if things improve by reducing animations when I'm not too lazy.
thecoon101 Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 Had 11994 anims and the game was playable. Installed an anim pack and went to 12144 and that was enough to ctd on load even on fresh saves
Tiress Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Complexity of animations seems to do a lot since you can go even over 20K animations if they are just pose packs and run the game just fine.
