Delay for whatever you do...

I installed many big mods like WickedWhims, BasementalDrugs, etc...

 

And I notice there's a kind of delay in the game around several seconds up to almost a minute for whatever action I do...

 

Like  when you click a sims, it will take 2-3 seconds before the pie menu is showing up. The same  as after you click the pie menu, the interaction icon will also take several seconds to show up and then another several seconds or sometimes almost a minute before the sims is starting to move and take the action. 

 

While the delaying time, you can still move the camera around the house smoothly.

 

I wonder what is the problem?

 

Does it mean my laptop is not strong enough to run the game?

 

I have MX150 and 12 GB of RAM, but the CPU is Core i3 7020. 

 

Do you think the bottleneck is in the processor?
