Help with a mod

I'm working on a mod that adds the option to have sex to pay off your bounty and ive linked it to sexlab and other things however i cant get the option to have sex to pay off your bounty to appear when talking to a guard ill attach what ive got so far so you guys can see what ive done

I've generated the seq and the dialogue option still doesn't appear

Okay, looked at the ESP.

 

There must only be one blocking branch on a quest and DialogueCrimeGuards already has one: DGCrimeForcegreet. You cannot add your own DialogueCrimeGuardsSexLabBounty because it will conflict and the results are unpredictable.

 

If you want to add a response to the guard's forcegreet then you need to add your DialogueCrimeGuardsSexLabBountyTopic as an option to those forcegreets. They are contained in the DGCrimeForcegreetTopic topic:

- "By order of the Jarl, stop right there!"

- "You have committed crimes against Skyrim and her people. What say you in your defense?"

The other two are related to quests so you shouldn't touch them.

 

If you want to add your option as an alternative to paying off the bounty then you have to find the places the bounty dialogue is referenced and add your entry there. Bring up CK's Use Info on the topic to find where those are.

 

I don't know if I can explain the intricacies of how dialogue works here. A dialogue topic grants one and only one option to the player. The entries inside it alter what the player and NPC say, but there is still only the one option. That means your addition to DGCrimePayFine won't do what you want.

 

So:

1. Revert your changes to DGCrimePayFine.

2. Keep DialogueCrimeGuardsSexLabBounty.

3. Find the assorted dialogue where the NPC says something and the player can respond by paying the bounty, and add the new topic as another response.
