Outfits Not Appearing In Bodyslide

BodySlide can't seem to find installed BodySlide-compatible armors, any ideas what might be causing this? All worked fine on my previous installation where I used MO, this time I went with Vortex which resulted in this problem. Sorry if there already exists a thread for this, but as far as I could tell, nothing such exists.

Checked everything, even in the Group Manager, which always shows everything. I'm 99% sure about that it's a matter of BodySlide not detecting the armors.

you could check manually if the bodyslide files ended in the right bodyslide folders

search for "VOBS.xml" in caliente tools folder for example (should be in slider groups) => if its not there than bodyslide can't show the slider groups

Thanks for the suggestion, it seems to be the problem. I can't find VOBS.xml. Since BodySlide seems to be running correctly (I can build bodies etc), do you think it's a matter of Vortex installing the armor mods incorrectly?

I fear it must be something how vortex installs the files

you could check where vortex installed the "vobs.xml" to on your HD/SD

that might give a clue how vortex installs files

I still use NMM,

if something like that happens I check where the files went to

most of the time I just need to change the folders of the original mod zip file and add them back to NMM to make it work right

maybe because Vortex is a mix of NMM/MO it might be the same issue

mod zip file looks like that:

? Vanilla Outfits BodySlided-65831-2-0.7z
? data
? VOBS.esp (13 kb)
? CalienteTools

you could check if vortex created a new data folder in data and installed there (I hope not lol)
or a new "vanilla Outfits..." folder

but I thought that vortex gives as much control how you install as MO does, or am I totaly wrong?

BodySlide is set up correctly. The problem seems to be that Vortex installed all the mods into their own folders, rather than putting the files in the BodySlide folder like it should.

This happened to me too but solved it.

What I found out was that when I used the "Add Tool" to link the BodySlide exe file to the Vortex I used an exe that was not in the right place.

Solution was making sure that the EXE that you are linking with "Add Tool" is the one that comes from the target path:  Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide and not from anywhere else.

Click New...

Click the folder icon for Target

Navigate to your drive Steam installs on

Goto steamapps

common is where you will find all your games and general steam applications

Common.PNG.da299b3acc7ea3eb99a5b6e2a407c7e8.PNG

I'm doing Skyrim so I'm using it's folder, then open it's data folder where you find all the mod info stuffs

Data.PNG.987545011fef1c6ee99f559c0dd72a92.PNG

I'm sure this is self explanatory, if not this is the tools for Caliente's mods, you'll find texblend here too

BodySlide

BodySide with the picture is the application, you can run it from here. If you're on a 64 bit then x64 if you're not then a safe bet is to use the one below it.

Then open it

Save

Then run.

There is the long process to do it. If you just click the url box and type C:\

I'm having the same issue of textures not showing in bodyslide but in Fallout4. I have the exe from the right file but i'm wondering if the texture files are in the wrong place. I'm new to PC so please go easy on the tech lingo...
