Dumb question....But...

This is going to sound really dumb but with menstral cycle duration,long for instance,it says 18-24 days per menstral cycle....Now here comes the dumb part......does it mean they get a period every 18-24 days or is that how long a period lasts.....I will now go and hide.....and thanks.

Their menstrual cycle lasts from 18 to 24 days, and then few of these days is PMS, few is period, and few is fertility days. The rest is just the empty cycle of the eggs regenerating.
