Rescaling armor and got this issue HELP [SOLVED]

I was rescaling some pants in OutfitStudio to fit the waist of the body. The waist looks good now, but I got this new problem:

Looks like the pant legs were scaled down as well. What outfit is that, and isn't there another way to make it fit besides scaling it?

Yeah, that's what I did, but I already got this fixed. Instead of scaling down the pants to fit the waist, I scaled up the waist to fit the pants. Less trouble and got a much better result.

Ah yes I thought I recognized the outfit. I converted this to UUNP a while ago and as with most of Crential's mods all I needed to do was conform the sliders and save the project. It fits the body perfectly as far as I can tell. I am curious to know why you needed to do any scaling but of course you don't need to explain yourself if you don't want to ?

I didn't like the upper part of the outfit. So I replaced it with another mesh, but I needed to make a little adjustment.
