Confused why Animation CTD's Started mid game

In 75 comments i not see any reference to the basic programs for solve CTD...

 

If you have CTD install this if you not have it:

ENB in Boost Mode

 

Your CTD is caused by Stack Full error c0000005 and that can be a problem with C++

Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2010 and 2013  in 32 and 64 bits.

 

Like your problem is caused when animating can be a problem in the DLL used for store data

Reinstall Jcontaines and PapyrusUtil and be sure you have the last versions.

 

I doubt a problem in the INI files but download, install and run BethIni.

 

In yours last logs, your Stack Dump is caused by 159 9f     yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp

You have 3400 scripts running simultaneous

[alias PlayerAlias on quest YPS02Heels (9F030115)].ypsheelsnio.OnObjectEquipped()

Is an evident problem with that mod. Try update it, revise dependencies or remove it.

 

When have problems in the game and make changes, like remove mod's like Wet Function or 159 9f     yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp, you must START A NEW GAME... ALWAYS make test in a NEW GAME...

Tink, I don't know if you know GenioMaestro but when it comes to this kind of stuff you should always listen to him (as much as I hate to admit it, even when he disagrees with me). Most of the technical stuff that I know I learned from him. As he will readily admit his English is not always perfect but if he will try to work with you then I'll help as much as I can but I bow to his superior expertise.

 

Oh, and for the record, all his advice is sound although some of it is more likely to be helpful than others. For instance, I would save reloading Visual C++ until all other avenues have been exhausted. But that's probably just me.

I am seriously starting to wander wtf? CTD on second animation, I cut what I could understand from the pap log but if I cut to much more I may as well play... well something that would make me want to gouge my eyes out with a wooden spoon.

Nope.^^ There are a couple of mods that claim to fix CTDs, but there is only one mod called "crash fixes" and there is nothing even similar regarding functionallity.

You definitly want that, although it's possible you have to make a couple of settings in it's .ini. Can't remember what and how exactly, it's been quite a while, but google knows tutorials for that and it'll show warnings ingame if important stuff doesn't work.

If you feel confident you may check some settings in the .ini that are considered experimental and off by default too (but have explaining comments), but in case of doubt better stay away or at least keep a backup.

It might be necessary to start a new game after that to make everything work.

 

Next, reduce your script load as far as possible. That might be done by uninstalling mods but the first thing i'd recommend is to check settings of your mods in their MCM. Reduce every scanning scripts, cloak spells,... as far as possible, in case of doubt start with high values, i.e. for creature framework, turn off aroused integration, set scanning time from 5 seconds to 60 or something, then play a while and see if it's ok of if you have to increase them a bit again.

 

Finally, these are my papyrus settings (in Skyrim.ini) that hurt performance but increase stability. "Perfect" settings may depend on hardware, setup,.... so you may try around a bit, but stay within the recommended values.

fUpdateBudgetMS=1.6 << how much time a script gets to execute. Default is 1.2, recommended max is 2.0

fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=2.0 <<how much time a script gets additionally to execute if it failed first time. Default is 1.2, recommended max is 2.0

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2500.0 << time to load scripts during loading screens. Can't remember default, something around 1000? Not sure if there's a max.

 

Note that the time to execute scripts is both min and max, so every ms you give it will hurt your performance no matter if it's necessary in that moment. But it also reduces stack dumps which are quite bad.

You NEED Crash Fixes 12 when install SexLab and related mod's with another 200 mods... download and install it.

 

Google is a good friend. Simply search "Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2010" and you get the link for download it directly from Microsoft web site. But i can NOT put the link because the exact version that you need depend of your operating system, Win7 or Win10, and depend of your operating system languaje: english, spanish, french...

 

ENB Boost is the same as normal ENB. You only need open enblocal.ini located in your main Skyrim folder, the same that have TESV.exe, and change:

UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false ; normal mode = graphics enhancer enabled

to

UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true ; BOOST mode = graphics enhancer DISABLE

 

If you have any ENB runing or a video card with 4gb or more Vram ENB is not stricly necesary, but is recomended.

 

But I take a more detailed look to your mod list and i'm near sure your problem is caused by JContainers and/or PapyrusUtil. Violens have a older version of Jcontainers.

 

I had a similar problem time ago with Campfire that have an older version of PapyrusUtil inside it.

 

Then, reinstall, update and be sure you have the last version of JContainers and PapyrusUtil.

Let your NMM overwrite ALL mod's with the new versions of JContainers and PapyrusUtil.

As said, Violens have a older version of Jcontainers, let your NMM overwrite it.

Sexlab have a older version of PapyrusUtil, let your NMM overwrite it.

in my enblocal I don't have 

normal mode=graphics enhancer enabled

 

Under any of the categories, I did change Use....Graphics=false (to =true)

 

I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (it even has its own cooling system) and HD Graphics 4600 (think its meant to have 4gb minimal) yeah just checked I have dedicated emory 4096 and total available graphics memory 12195.

Updated and re-installed both, let them over-ride everything, I will start a new game now ans keep my fingers crossed.

I'm not saying that the above advice isn't good but I still think you are approaching this from the wrong end. You need to sit down and think about what you want your game to do and then look at the mods needed to give you that.

The way you are proceeding at the moment will result in weeks of frustration. Bite the bullet now.

 

As I mentioned a couple of pages back, I can have sex with what I want and when and where I want. All done with about 20 SL/LL mods. I can choose which factions are friendly or hostile and with a few mouse clicks I can chop and change all sorts of things mid-game.

I am just getting my game back to normal after several weeks of problems. The game didn't break; I broke the game. I broke it a bit more than I thought I would so it's been a royal pain in the proverbial to sort out but my fault.

 

ENB/ENBoost. The latter is the memory management part of ENB so if you use an ENB you will also be using ENBoost. The reverse is not the case. My advice, if you're not currently using an ENB then stick with ENBoost until you get your game stable. An ENB is simple enough to add later.

 

I'm not a big fan of Bethini. Used it myself yesterday and it changed things that didn't need changing. (put me in windowed mode, changed my screen resolution, put me in permanent run mode).

A very valid point, the problem I have is many of the Mods I have are designed to make my life hard due to being really sexually addicted, everything makes me horny in game, thats what I want. As an example I have played Shout like a Virgin to completion a few times, but on many play throughs I still keep it, why? Because even when you put the story on Hold deactivate everything, I can still be afflicted by random uncontrollable orgasms. (this is in effect something I actually suffered through in life, so I like that aspect especially in the Mod) problem is I can't get that separate in any Mod or for that matter combined into something like Aroused, or Dripping when Aroused. I love the Combat arousal for simular reasons, I used to get off on pain, experiencing it and inflicting it (very real aspects of BDSM in a controlled environment) in a game though you can explore potentially the uncontrolled aspects that mean the difference between a Sadist and a Sadistic Sadist, one knows when to stop the other won't stop. A lot of the Mods have singular awesome properties and then some that really are not needed, or should be a separate Mod.   Its like Succubus Heart and PSQ, to me heart is the core, a real succubus that grows and wains in power by feeding of sexual energy, but heart has no controls, it really is designed for somebody who doesn't have sex with neutrals and good NPC's  as you can't switch off the draining ability (unless you go into McM) PSQ gives you a quick toggle for Drain, it also deals with the demonic aspects of a succubus. Sure it buffs human form (it shouldn't not the way it does anyway, but the way Heart does, PSQ buffs should be only in demonic form, that includes spells, immunities, miasma and so on).

 

But in saying all that you are right, I am going to have to bite the bullet and take serious account of the Mods I am using.

OK Tink. I've looked at the latest log and decided the next mod that you need to try without is Succubus Heart. From what I can see you are having multiple mods (particularly SLAR - which I assume you don't want to do without, and SH) competing and causing the script issues that you have. I don't use SH as you know so I'll give you the three reasons I think that it is the next candidate. First, Grey Cloud says it is a duplicate, at least partially, for PSQ and that would add to your script burden and the potential for stack dumps. Second, as is not unexpected, it appears in every one of your logs as part of the issue of the never ending orgasm. Third, SH itself says it is script heavy, and I quote:

 

[ <<>> ] WARNING : Script Mod [ <<>> ]
While Succubus Heart is fairly light weight in the majority of cases it is a heavily script based mod. If your game is already having issues with script latency and overload I recommend backing up your saves before trying out Succubus Heart (and/or possibly decreasing your script load). I've done what I can to ensure Succubus Heart is as bug/error free as possible however under script lag any mod can begin throwing up errors and I can't guarantee Succubus Heart's performance.

 

So, as a trial I think you need to give playing the game without SH a shot. ?

As for the rest, you don't have to do everything in a single playthrough. You can have the mods installed but deactivate those you don't need for a particular play. If you use MO you can use profiles.

I have mods which make combat more difficult but only one or two. I can play naked or I can play armoured, I can fight everything or nothing. It's all down to knowing the available mods and choosing those that fit my game plan which is the freedom to do what I want, when I want - hence no interest in the DD stuff.

Just seen Psalam's post about Succubus Heart. That was probably one of the reasons I stuck with PSQ. That plus I know PSQ's foibles.

On a 'strange but true' sidenote, a couple of weeks ago I realised what a succubus represents while I was watching my PC get back-scuttled by a falmer. (That's the sort of thing I study when I'm not playing Skyrim).

HMM I have noticed the same, but welllll I be kinda stubborn "I REALLY LIKE THAT MOD!!" But you maybe right, ok you probably are, yes alright it is almost constantly affecting the game in the background, and especially so during animations... you know if it fixes the problem I am going to sulk big time?

You are very right when it comes to .ini files, I spent the better part of almost 2 weeks reading up on them, and on the many modifications suggested, as they can very much break a game.  I do have an ini backup folder, so I can always go back to original for the most part when I make changes.

2) Do you have any idea why there are calls for several mods that you don't have at the end of your log? A missing mod would make for a nice answer although I expect that it's only a mod calling for optional mods that you don't have - kind of like PSQ will do if you don't have YPS for instance.

Not sure I know I had Estrus Chaurus and Kynes Blessing but neither were showing in the McM.  Also I think possibly the ENB is playing up, it is like there is a white film infront of the screen? I am gonna test again, after I re-install those 2 Mods.

Estrus Chaurus is not showing up in the McM though on load in it is registering? I re-installed it even re-down loaded it...

 

Plus that over exposed white is still there, not even sure now if it is the ENB? Was not there initially.
