November Update

MC has been updated, and can be found in the usual places. Tested - looks good to me.

Basemental - Updated 45 minutes ago. Downloaded - looks good.

according to Sacrificial his mods are mostly good to go. His reactions to his mods working and the new update features are pretty priceless.

WW patreon is updated and working so far. I imagine it won't be long for a public update.

As for the patch itself, I am noticing much much faster load times. First person is sort of jerky/weird, but using ww with it is very nice.

Overall for me, this is looking like the best update for this game thus far.

I just got the update and now my WW does Not work.  No Wicked options anywhere.  I removed the mods, reboot, put the mods back in, reboot.  Nothing.  All the mods are listed at the start but no options during gameplay to access Wicked.  I double checked to make sure custom mods is turned on.   Wtf?

Did you get the most recent WW version for the November 14th patch? If not then that's your problem. Get the newest WW, completely remove the old one, and place the new one in the mods folder. You may also have to go  into your saves folder and remove wicked whims (only) from there, your game will make a new one automatically. 

 

Also make sure you allow script mods in your game through the in game options menu.

So apparently a lot of users are reporting problems involving hair, beards, and eyebrows not being able to change the color. Maxis changed things up and are looking into it after being reported by S4S devs. A supposed fix can be found here: http://sims4studio.com/thread/15291/sims-latest-patch-broken-swatches?page=3

Thanks for the info. I’m having the same problem and I tried the potential fix but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. ☹ Hopefully Maxis can fix it.
