Vesuvian Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 So...I dunno what the fuck happened, but Oblivion doesn't want me to use furries like Khajiits and Argonians without any problems apparently, I've attached some images that show the bugs I've been facing. For some odd reason, the texture on the female Khajiit has gone bonkers. I have no idea what's causing this because I haven't installed any new textures for female Khajiits. Male Khajiits don't have this problem. Installing new textures on top of the ones from Seamless - Args and Khajs didn't seem to help. I got the bug when I used a Set Body spell on my Argonian character, maybe that's connected? Wrye Bash apparently doesn't like it when Argonians have more than one eye color option. I checked in the Construction Set, and my Bashed Patch is apparently deleting the references to the other eye textures/colors I have installed, I tried adding them again manually via CS but it would always crash whenever I attempted to save. Before that, I was having a problem with the default Argonian eye overwriting the retexture I installed, I managed to fix that via TES4Edit, but still couldn't access other eye colors. If it's any help, I followed both of these guides; Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion and Oblivion Ultimate Modding Guide - Gameplay and Immersion along with a few mods that I DL'ed that weren't in the list. I always sort my mods with BOSS, and have ArchiveInvalidated via OBMM and I don't use an ENB, only SweetFX. Blaze69 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 The Khajiit texture issue is due to a vanilla bug: the female feet textures are wrongly pointed to the male texture set. This isn't particulary noticeable in the vanilla game where each body part has its separate texture set (upperbody, lowerbody, hands and feet). But most body replacers like Roberts or HGEC merge them all together into a single texture in the foot slot, so unless you use a mod/patch that fixes the path for female Khajiits, they use the male textures and cause the bug seen in your pics. (Amusingly enough, Skyrim Khajiits also have a female texture set wrongly pointing to the male texture instead, but in that case it's the hand normal map). As for Argonians, the lack of other eye options even though I'm pretty sure OCO adds some of them would mean something is overwriting the Argonian race record and removing the new eyes. I'd say you should load all of your mods in xEdit and see which mods are editing the Khajiit and Argonian races and reverting the fixes/edits from OCO, as I'm pretty sure the Khajiit texture fix is also supposed to be included there (and thus it's being overwritten by something else).

But if you have any other Mods that change the vanilla races you can add the fix in that Mod ( add the right textures path ) (The khajiit fix : see my yellow Link below ) A new esp for only one changed textures path... ? I add the fix in the Roberts male body esp Spoiler And if you have not set archive invalidate via Bsa Redirection the game will still use the vanilla textures, not the new textures in the folders. But you have archive invalidate so it is the wrong textures path.
Vesuvian Posted October 24, 2018 Author Posted October 24, 2018 @Blaze69 and @fejeena Thanks for both of your responses! I managed to fix both of the problems by editing my Bashed Patch via TES4Edit. Had to add them from OCO. Khajiits and Args are fine now, yaay~ EDIT: Also, apparently TRAP was reverting the changes OCO made, dunno why BOSS sorted it below OCO. So putting it before OCO made things peachy.
