"Outdated or Skyrim install detected."

I had this and the issue was I was using Skyrim VR with a few non-VR mods installed by accident. Namely Papyrus and Jcontainers.  Then I also installed the SL VR sexlab patches (see "Skyrim SexLab and VR") post.

It went away after that.

outdated or skyrim install detected. sexlabs currently requires skyrim v1.5 or newer in order to function. to continue using this mod; you must update your install and reload your game. I updated to the newst Version and I get this message. I am using mod organizer 2. The last one says Toys &Love Install error: Can't initialize Love Scenes. Forgot to install JContainers? Or it's wrong version. I put JContainers SSE still don't work.

Have you tried launching the game through the SKSE loader as intended? According to this bit of your screenshots you're launching the game without SKSE so of course any SKSE dependent mods won't work at all.

Once you do that, confirm all your mods are compatible with your version of the game (the product version of your SkyrimSE.exe file).

Also, the Print Screen button exist (and like 5 alternative ways to take screenshots that don't involve taking a physical picture of your screen). And if you want to show the mods you have installed you should include your modlist (left pane of MO2), not only that loadorder in alphabetical order? (I hope that's not how you really play your game).

I just solved my issue… had the same message and everything, the way I fixed it (I installed fnis when I had nemesis anyway) I checked the SKSE’s VERSION not your skyrim’s and install the sexlab compatible with that, just make sure the skse and sexlab versions are correct.  I’m using Nolvus too.

Thk's using nolvus, and the skse that nolvus uses is v2.0.20 for SSE 1.5.97.

For Skyrim Special Edition (1.5.97, aka SE) use SexLabFrameworkSE_v163.7z
