How can I go about cleanly uninstalling CC from DOAXVV? Methods ive tried cause shader issues so im not sure how to reverse it

When I overwrote it with Azusa's icon,
Reika was also affected and I could no longer select Takao and Dewa arbitrarily.
Is it possible to separate Reika and Azusa's icons? Thank you so much.

I have a question about the need for MaterialEditor in CC.
A while ago, I upgraded my PC, and the game runs incredibly smoothly on it and loads faster. So I also checked how it works with CC. On the old PC, loading times were very long with CC enabled. Fortunately, they're much shorter on the new one. On the new PC with CC, loading is similar to the old one without CC. I have no complaints, except for one small issue: when there are four characters on the screen with specific lighting, the game noticeably drops frames. I recently remembered some people complaining that CC wasn't working properly for them, even though they were talking about something else. But I thought maybe the MaterialEditor was causing problems, so I tried uninstalling it, and surprisingly, the frame rate returned to normal.
Now, can I leave it uninstalled, or will that affect CC in any way? So far, there's no difference. Maybe a couple of warnings appear when loading the game but that's all I noticed, but it's better to ask anyway.

This looks like it's showing the original shadows of the CC suit

You can cycle between shadow modes with Shift+F2 (set it to shadows=on)

Try deleting MaterialEditor in CC folder or add DISABLED in front of it

I don't have Win 11 (I'd rather not, but they'll probably force me to switch eventually), so I don't know how it affects mods. This thread has already addressed this issue, and they recommended removing the material editor, but maybe there was something else. Maybe try using my files, but save yours before replacing them.

Deleting ME helped the game run smoothly, I have new hardware but with CC enabled it could drop frames in certain cases, and after getting rid of the file the problem disappeared

I still don't know what the problem is. I tried it on win10 and it's the same. It's also the same on steam-DOAXVV-jp. It can only be the CC problem.

I think you mixed up the CC 480 slots with the 240 slops (or vice versa).

If you have the CC240 slots, delete the folders from 241 to 480 inside CostumeCustomizer.

Or if you have the CC480 slots, make sure to have those folders inside CostumeCustomizer.

I think i deleted them from 241 to 480 because I didn't use the patch that you said you can use

 

i think i have it working i just opened the zip folder of costumecustomizer then copy and pasted it into the costumes folder and readded the folders i deleted  now no errors hopefully it doesn't crash when i get past the main menu

 

just as I suspected game crashed when i try to load to game menu after clicking menu on startup

 

i followed the video exactly as it said

 

is it because I have the Johren version of the game and the mods are not compatible

Try to download PATCH_CostumeCustomizer_v2.5.2_01Page.zip and delete the folders from 25 to 480. Don't do anything more. https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/7305-costume-customizer-framework-mod-v252-2282023/

Johren version works with mods. So is it only with CC when the game crashes?

What zip file? PATCH_CostumeCustomizer_v2.5.2_01Page.zip? Yes, to the CC folder. What are the specs of your pc?
