Voltanis Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 So Soulcalibur is finally coming to PC in one week (Oct. 18th) . There's a handful of very popular characters in the series. Is it possible we will see any detailed nude mods similar to DOA 5? I hope so.
Just Checking Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 I want to say almost definitely, but who knows when. It might not be especially mod friendly, which wouldn't surprise me. Personally, I'd appreciate some level of modability, hopefully enough that people can make more cosmetics to add to the game. Or maybe replace ones you don't like. Cuz soulcal is a dressup game before all else.

hilbo75 Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 the previous two games had nude mods despite being on the ps3. i think that shows that there are perverts interested enough in the soulcalibur series to jump through some hoops for it.

I feel like chances are good for this one considering it uses UE4 and with the extensive character editing. There has to be at least one armor piece that will have a full body mesh underneath.

Except tekken didn't and neither will this. Ivy's base and CAS FemH will be as close as you can get.

Ivy's base and CAS FemH will be as close as you can get. tekken sort of did (except it was exclusive to alisa. some people are working on swapping her nude outfit to other characters but who knows if anything will come of that.) and in some ways we already have full body meshes with colossi and shapeshifter. if we can get texture editing to work with something like special k, and can get tekken style body swap stuff going we might be able to replace the colossi texture with the human skin texture and normal maps and then replace normal character body with colossi body. of course thats assuming that the game is set up that way lol. who knows how this game will actually be structured.

I bet you could use the shapeshifter race's mesh on the other female models. It looks like under the little shirt it has everything under it.

hilbo75 Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 Yeah its kinda unrealistic to hope for doa style mods considering those kinds of mods dont happen unless theres like, a lot of effort behind them. And games dont usually get that much effort unless they're inherently sexual like doa, or very easy to mod and popular like skyrim.
