Anon-user Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I've spent quite a while trying to fix this, and I can't seem to find the issue. The games crashes everytime I try to load a save or even start a new game. Most of these mods were active when I was playing the game just fine just a few days ago, but after I added the devious mods and the full HCOS pack, I can't seem to get it working anymore. Can anyone help out? If your game won't load after you get to the main screen it is 99% certain that you have more animations than you can handle." With what you've said and with what I've quoted it is likely that either 1) you didn't load all the requirements for DD or 2) having added DD has now put you over the limit of animations that your system and mods can handle. If you've run LOOT and KNOW that there is no missing requirement you might want to start by taking out an animation pack or two and seeing if your game starts. There is no specific number of animations that are safe to run. At the bottom of this post there is a link to an earlier thread in which Fore (of FNIS fame) explains the problems. It is entirely possible (in fact, usual) for FNIS to tell you that you have 15000 animations correctly loaded and still crash your game. FNIS is capable of telling you what FNIS can handle, not what YOUR GAME can handle. But yeah, i do believe the amount of animations I've got on is a big problem.

This is discussed in great detail on the SLAL thread (no surprise the people who hang out there have to deal with this every day). I would suggest that if you are looking for alternatives to just cutting out animation packs you might want to start there. In addition, if you ask nicely on that support thread MadMansGun is usually very nice and helpful in pointing you in the direction that you want.

I've just gone and deleted every funnybiz pack and it seems to be working fine

RomeoZero Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 The basic fix is to deinstall those 2 last plugins and test. If the game loads good - its the plugins internal issues, see install specifications for them. You might miss something important or open them in CK and fix it all by yourself.
