Missing mods but which ones?

I've reinstalled SSE but now my saved games fail.

I\m not getting any messages at the start saying I have a compatabilty issue with missing mods.

How can I find out what mods I need for a particular saved game?

Well, I think if you install wryeBash for SSE, it'll tell you what mods were installed when you saved your game. If you used a lot, it'll be a big, big list. And to get your game back into the state it was, you'll need to install all of them. But, the plugin list won't exactly tell you which mod you need to install. But, it'll give you a hint as to what you need.

More simple to just delete your saves and start a new adventure, collecting mods as you go, or something.

Thanks for the tip on Wyre Bash - I'll have to get my head around using it.

This is now - probably - the fourth time I've got to around level 30+ in Skyrim & Skyrim SSE and I'm getting tired of the repetition.

I love the game, I was just hoping that there was some kind of shortcut to fixing it.

You can open the save with ReSaver(link for SE) and click file->export plugin list.

You get the name of the ESP's and ESM's referenced by the savegame.

You can try install the faulting mod but the result is not totally guaranty because the mod's must be in SAME order and version.

Can be a better option make a clean process with ReSaver, presing crtl+1,crtl+2,crtl+3,crtl+4, not use crtl+5, and try load the savegame.

But this can end in problems because some mod's can be related to others mod's and not works.

The golden rule is NEVER touch the mod list in mid-game and NEVER remove a mod in mid-game.

Teorically, you can add mod's at the end of the list, but sometimes the mod must load before other mod for dependencie and that mean change the order list that can give problems.
