Pcgeekri Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Would like to note that when a new patch or new Wicked Whims is released, my Sims 4 folder gets deleted. Slowly the folder is remade checking mod updates and that Wicked Whims is a totally new install with no folders and old saves. I play my game with full autonomy, I'm a watcher. lol Edit: Installed: Base Game, Outdoor Retreat, Vampires, and City Living. Been testing with two neighborhoods and even removed mods that should not interfere with Wicked Whims. ( Play with only a few mods, mostly mods are hair and outfits) This new 8/28 version appears to have lost it's control on Romance, there isn't any except with the NPCs. The playable sim gets high STR relationship but no LTR. Therefore only the NPCs are having sex. All they want to do with the playable sim is be best friends. UNRESOLVED: Romance still seems to be missing with the 8/31 update but it's too early into testing to tell. So far only NPCs are still having sex, Playable sim only wants best friends, autonomously speaking. Uploading my Json settings file converted to text so anyone may see my current settings used in testing. Edit: Tested the latest version for over 5 hours now. Romance isn't being controlled for my playable sim, only NPC premade couples are having sex. I'll just go back to the August 1st version and test the next update to see if Romance comes back. Thanks Thank you Nudity seems to be problem. A lot with the Nudist Trait also seems to have little effect on the Playable sim. NPCs are totally nude and the playable may have one article of clothing off. Nudity at the residence seems to work as usual. Like to note that the playable sim was at level 2 Naturism increasing to level 3 and still didn't like to take off clothes at a "Nudist" lot. (Thanks for the skill increase at the mirror.) RESOLVED: Oh yeah Nudist Lot Trait is working like crazy on the Playable sim.... whew! Oh baby! Love that treadmill. Edit: Well after more observation it appears that the Gym Trainers aren't playing fair. They need to play Nudist with the other Townies. (Gyms are Nudist lots in my game.) They are doing quite a bit of mentoring but they should be getting a trigger I would think? heh My next test I'm deleting my Sims 4 folder again and use only the Wicked Whims mod to confirm my above observations. (I'll edit this post to let you know the results.) If confirmed that Wicked Whims has lost it's control over Romance I'll just go back to the August 1st version of Wicked Whims. Edit: Should have done this, detailed notes are kept in case of hardware failure. Here is the list of settings: Nudity Settings: Both Switches on: .... Hold on WW Update just made available. TURBODRIVER Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 WickedWhims doesn't affect Sims autonomy interactions in any way, so Sims romance progression itself has nothing to do with the mod.

That's interesting here is a quote from the Wicked Whims Website under the heading of "Relationship - Basics": "WickedWhims dynamically modifies most of the default romance interactions and other romance-related content. Majority of it has to be first enabled in ‘Relationship Settings’." And mine is, Romance made available for All Ages. And that is under Relationship Settings not Sex Settings. Now if the above information is no longer true the author should be kind enough to update the information on the main Wicked Whims website. Or should be stated that this does not effect Autonomous Romance Progression. However, That would explain why my personal Autonomous Romance and Social mods work fine with the August 1st version of Wicked Whims. But they don't work with the last two latest versions. My educated guess is that somehow Wicked Whims has removed or causing the the Ad_Data to be ignored for the Romance LTR tracking statistic, Instance 410B S=16651. Have made some tweaks on my Autonomous Romance/Friendship mods. I'll erase my Sims 4 folder and give the latest version one more try. Edit: After playing a new game with the latest version for a day only saw a couple of flirts happen. Pre-made Townie couples having sex. None for my playable sim. There was little to no flirting. No romance leads to no desire. No desire, no lust and therefore no autonomous sex. That's fine. I'm happy with the August 1st version of Wicked Whims. Thank you for your response and have a great day The information is correct, WickedWhims does dynamically modify the romance interactions to unlock age limitations but that's about it. And when you have it disabled in 'Relationship Settings' it does nothing to them at all. Still, none of it has anything to do with autonomy itself other than allowing the interactions to be used on a wider age range.

It's obviously something I'll have to resolve with my personal Autonomous Social/Romance mods if I wish to go to the trouble of getting them to work with the latest version. However I'm very satisfied with the August 1st version of the game, my Autonomous mods run fine with it. I don't think I'm missing very much by staying with the older version.
