Bruce Banner Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 A screenshot would help more to be honest .

Bruce Banner Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Have you checked the game resolution is exactly the same as your monitor resolution in ALL of your ini files ?

I think so. what do you mean by "ALL" my ini files? what else is there besides falloutprefs.ini? does it look like this on your screen?
Bruce Banner Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini are also in the same folder . EDIT - Actually , looking at my own it seems that display res is only in the pref.ini so ignore that advice .
cleavagesweat Posted August 20, 2018 Author Posted August 20, 2018 Just now, Bruce Banner said: Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini are also in the same folder . custom has resolution settings?
TanookiTamaTachi Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 If you happen to be using ENB, also check if they aren't added by some option there (probably called "vignette" or something), as some preset authors are under the mistaken impression that adding random black bars to the screen somehow makes things more "cinematic".
Bruce Banner Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 what res does it say in your nvidia driver settings in your nvidia control panel in the change resolution section ?

I just uninstalled it. I don't need an ENB that cuts screen space... that's just stupid... I don't care what "cinematic" crap it tries to mimic but taking screen space is a no-no. does FO4 really need an ENB?

Bruce Banner Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Glad you got it sorted . Well spotted Tanooki . And yeah Von , I don't use ENB either . I'd sooner use the built in HBAO . Everyone to their own and all that but I'm happy with that .
