Can't interact with Sims after last update

So, at first after updating the game it would crash on startup. I fixed it (in case anyone else has that problem, for me it was the Extreme Violence mod that caused it), so now I can start it like normal. However, I can't interact with any sims? I can interact with other things, like chairs and mirrors and beds and so on, but not other sims. Nothing happens when I click on them. 

 

Anyone else have this issue and knows how to solve it? I guess it's a mod, but since I have so many mods installed I don't know where to start to find the one messing things up

 

 

UPDATE: Spent a couple of hours on this, and I think I solved it. It seems like it was the Pose Player causing the issue ._. That's a shame, since I really love the pose player. Just thought I'd let everyone know in case others have the same problem!

Me too! When I click on my sims nothing happens. It seems like there is a supper long lag. Any suggestions? The only way I can more forward in game is if I keep hitting save. HELP! Thanks ahead of time if you have any helpful suggestions for me. I really do appreciate all and any help give. You all are so awesome.

I wanted to install pose player to improve my experience with all the mods installed but after this new game update Im scared because Im pretty sure that it will break many of the mods installed... this is sick.

I've got pose player along with many posepacks. Everything works as intended for me. It's more than likely that the others have outdated mods causing conflict.

Having the same issues. Deleted the newer animations and only used the ones that I had on there before.  Still lagging.  I guess I don't know what the 'exception' thing is because I hadn't heard about it until today.  If someone could talk me through it I'd be truly appreciative.  FYI Wicked Whims is updated (from 8/1) and all the animations I used before haven't changed. I'm going to try starting completely over with animations and see what happens.

A Teen's homework is causing you some problems, at least here. Try deleting their homework.

What Vengeance_11 says + is the dining table cc or base game?.....if cc try replacing it.

I am having this problem as well.. but cant seem to figure out wth is going on? It does it with out any mods, but with each mod it seems to become worse..
