Bodyslide Skintone Colour

Recommended Posts

For some reason my Bodyslide shows the dark skintone rather than the light skintone . It's not messed up or anything but it used to show the light skintone and the light skintone made it much easier to see details on the skin . Is there anywhere you can alter what skintone is used because it's annoying when you're trying to do mash ups or do your own bodyslide alterations and makes it more difficult than it should be .

I noticed this too, the male body would show darker in OS, but not the female.  In researching this (finally), it seems that the Enhanced Vanilla Bodies malecut texture I have been using, does not have the diffuse saved with the proper settings.  When I opened the texture and saved it with these settings, it works in OS as expected:

How did you do this? How exactly do I open the texture to get to this screen?

Intel Texture Works is a plugin for Photoshop.  You can find it here:  https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/intel-texture-works-plugin.html

Photoshop isn't required though as GIMP also supports DDS format texture files (with a similar plugin)
