AbWill Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Getting confused by all the posts. As a total newbie to Skyrim mods and looking to spice the game up with sex mods, where should I start?
Guest Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Install SKSE (skse.silverlock.org) use the 7zip version Install a nude body (CBBE, UUNP, or whatever you like most) Install SkyUI (you really need that) Install FNIS Check if the game works, repeat the previous steps if not Install SexLab Generate FNIS for Users Complete its installation in its own MCM menu Install MatchMaker, equip the spells and test if the anims are working

As a total newbie to Skyrim mods and looking to spice the game up with sex mods, where should I start? Welcome to LL. Where you start depends on your preferences. The people here are very helpful. So, are you familiar with modding already? Do you have "the basics" from time spent modding on Nexus? What particular things are you into? Looking for sex with anyone? Looking for slavery? Bestiality? BDSM? It's all here but there is a lot of it, so please give us a place to start.
old cat Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Another couple thoughts for starting modding your Skyrim: Identify if you're doing Skyrim Legendary (all DLC) or Skyrim Special Edition. There are differences in install between the two as well as picking mods that may be available for both but incompatible from LE (also known as OldRim) and SE. Additionally some LE/OR mods will work in SE directly and others will work only after minor adjustment for mesh and texture changes. Initially nothing commonly encountered but just to be aware and read the full mod page before installing. Identify which install method you are trying to use. For example, Manual install - personally would not recommend period Mod Organizer (MO) - suitable for OR/LE but not SE this is now at end of life and available in a new version Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) - aimed at 64bit games like Fallout4 and SE but suitable for 32bit games like Skyrim or Oblivion Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) - suitable for OR/LE but again not a personal choice for me Nexus Vortex (Vortex) - Also aimed at 64bit games like FO4 and SE like MO2 The choice of install method will make a big difference on advice for each mod you install. Decide your install method before you start modding your game! READ EVERYTHING ON EVERY PAGE. That alone will save you headaches as well as getting you up to speed on mod prerequisites for the chosen install mod to work. It will also introduce you to some of the basic elements of the mod design, components, and mod author advice. Welcome to spice LOL
Swiftstep Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Buy "the Sims" - lots of high-quality sex mods, and nearly no skill needed to install them.
DatWombat Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 CPU just about sums up what you'll need. You'll need Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE), and SkyUI and Fore's New Idles (FNIS). CPU provided a link to SKSE, and FNIS and SkyUI are both available on the Skyrim Nexus. While I'm talking about the Nexus, I'd highly recommend that you use a mod manager (such as Nexus Mod Manager). A mod manager will help keep your mods organized and properly installed, and will expedite installs/uninstalls. You'll definitely want a nude body of sorts, along with it's requirements. In the past, I used the UNPB Blessed Body (which also required HDT Physics extensions, realistic rag dolls, and the XPMSE Skeleton). Which brings me to another point. Read, read, and read. Read everything. old cat outlines a number of managers and brings this point up. You will avoid a great deal of problems and frustration if you just "READ EVERYTHING ON EVERY PAGE." (old cat) You won't get any steamy scenes without Sexlab Framework. Get that, and take a look at Lover's Lab's adult mod section. Look for some sex mods that catch your eye, and follow their install instructions. When I first got into modding, I had a bit of trouble installing FNIS. If you run into trouble using this mod (or getting animations to work), I'd take a trip to YouTube. There are many people who have uploaded tutorials on how to get started with modding Skyrim. Furthermore, I believe that Steam as a number of Skyrim modding guides available, although I can't vouch for their usefulness (as I've never personally needed them) Ah! And another bit of advice. NEVER install a bunch of mods at once. Install them one at a time, and make sure your game still works. That way, if you break your game, you won't have any trouble figuring out the culprit. *Phew*, please excuse my disjointed reply ? Also, I HIGHLY recommend that you check this post out. It has links to a great many sex mods, and they are all very neatly sorted out.
