Yakuza 0 Erotic Video Swap

Description

 

This mod swaps all of the original girls softcore videos out with their much more racy and intense hardcore versions and let me tell you, they're indeed very racy in my personal opinion.

 

Super Easy Installation. Yay!

 

1.  Download the Yakuza0 Erotic Video Swap.zip (mega or mediafire link. A file may not show up, but just click the "Download this file" button and then the "Download" button and it'll redirect you.)
2.  Backup your "Yakuza 0\media\data\movie_w64\iv" folder.
3.  Drop the iv folder from within the downloaded zip to "Yakuza 0\media\data\movie_w64" (overwrite all.)
4.  Enjoy

 

 

Warning

The majority of these videos are censored. I did search for uncensored versions, but couldn't find many. (18 Censored and 12 Uncensored)

Blame Japan for their weird ass censoring laws. Anus is okay, but flash a bit of pussy and you have to censor it. I still think it's pretty hot personally, but if that's not your cup of tea then move on and wait for a different pack. I'll be changing all the models completely soon. (cards & videos) to fully uncensored, different models. (This will probably take a while because i still need to figure out how to change the text when you pick up a card "you got "name" type C card" and i also need to find out how to edit the tiles in the video store.)

 

 

 

Notes

• Videos are edited by myself so don't expect anything too flashy.
• Audio included. - I'd advise you to use headphones because these girls love to scream. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
• Video length is between 1-5 minutes and some are longer than others. Didn't know what length to put the videos at so i set myself the limit of 5 minutes max. If you get bored, just skip. (I'd be awesome if there was a fastforward button, but alas there isn't.)
• Tried my best to compress the .usm as best i could without impacting on the video quality so this is the best i got. (There are 30 files that total at 1GB. The original 30 files total at around 750 MB for comparison.)

A: Probably working on trying to figure out how to edit the name that shows up when you pickup a card also figure out how to change the models tiles around in the erotic store. I may also dabble in trying to nude up the cat girl fights, but don't pin your hopes on it as i'm making zero promises.

 

Q: My game crashed/infinite loading screen help?!

A: Please use the discussion for the mod you're having issues with and explain what you do so i can try to recreate the issue myself. (If your issue is not erotic video related then i can not help you as that is not my mods fault.)

 

Q: Why is the audio so loud for some girls?

A: What can i tell you? They really like to "let go" (Must be getting paid a lot to use those lungs. ) Seriously though, It'd be much easier for you to turn your volume down than for me to de-compile and re-compile all the videos again just to tweak the audio. Which believe it or not, i have.

 

Q: I don't have all the videos. Will the new ones show up when i've collected them?

I have not collected all the videos yet so i haven't watch some to see if they worked, i'd assume they do because i tested about 15+ in-game and all worked fine. I edited the videos to make 30 .usm files, mistakes are bound to happen with either encoding or more than likely human error. It was a very long and tedious method and may very well be outdated due to tools coming out that probably make the process easier.

 

This will be long and is for anybody else wondering how to do it.

Use the gibbed tools to unpack Yakuza 0/media/data/movie_w64/iv (these may already be decompiled and not actually packed)

 

Get the video you want in the game (pretty sure it can be however long you want it to be, but you should be able to open it in your software. Vegas pro doesn't support .avi videos, well it does but no audio comes with the video.) I personally use vegas pro so will be assuming you have that as I do not know how to use any other video editing software, i'm afraid.

 

You can convert the .avi by using ffmpeg which is inside the needed tools folder.

 

Needed Tools.rar

 

Just put your video inside the ffmpeg/bin folder > press shift + right click on a blank space and "open power shell here". Next just type

 

ffmpeg.exe -i name_of_your_video.avi out_name_of_your_video.mp4

 

That'll convert it into an mp4 video for you. It'll take a while depeneding on how long the original is. Open the video in vegas pro or some other video editing software.

Change the project properties to 640x480 (This is the size of the tv in-game, use the little cog wheel at the top left of the preview screen.)

 

Right click the video > properties and check disable resample box. Do the same with the auido, but check normalize box.

 

Mute the audio track and only render out the video track as a .m2v file. You can select one and customize it.

 

Here are the settings I used:

Make sure you change your framerate above to match your own video framerate. Your video framerate is under the video preview box. (In the image above, it's on the right side 29.970i)

 

Once that renders you should have a .m2v video which opens as a perfect square. (No black boarders or letterboxing)

Next, mute the video track and render out the audio as a .wav (I just picked the default template and rendered.)

 

Make sure you play it too once it's done to see if it came out okay. You can mess around with compression to get the file size down.

 

Now you should have one .m2v video and one .wav audio file.

 

We now need to convert that .m2v video into a .avi so scaleform can use it.

 

Drop the video into the ffmpeg/bin folder > hold shift + right click on a blank space and "open power shell here".

 

Type ffmpeg.exe -i name.m2v -f avi -q 2 name.avi and now you'll have a .avi video.

 

You can now open up scaleformvideoencoder.exe once that's done. (inside the needed tools folder)

 

Select your .avi as the input name and with "use audio" checked, select the track at the bottom and point it to your .wav file.

 

Under video settings, check encode audio as hca codec option.

 

This will be trail and error here. If you leave the bitbrate at 16k and hca quality at high, your file size will be pretty large.

 

It's up to you what you set it as and I can't personally tell you what to set it to since we're using different videos so it might be different for you.

 

I've personally left my settings as default, but that does mean each .usm file will be around 100+mb so you may need to mess with the compression.

 

Hit encode button.

 

This will give you your .usm file and a .bat (you can delete the .bat file)

 

Next replace the file with one of the files in Yakuza 0\media\data\movie_w64\iv

 

Very important. You must name your own .usm file the same name as the video you want to replace.

 

For example, if I want my 01_joy.usm video in-game to replace kanae, i'd then need to rename joy.usm to 16_kanae.usm

 

You can find the names of the videos at the iv folder.
If you want to name it something specific to make it easier for you to know what video is what, you'd need to edit the .exe file with a hex editor to point to your custom .usm name as the _number_name.usm is baked into the .exe

Once you're in-game, go to a erotic video shop and select the person you replaced the video for.

That's it, you now have to do exactly that, 29 more times.

 

Picture/name of the jav model will still be there as I never got around to fully releasing/exploring that myself.

 

I know how to do it and have done it only once though before I stopped. If you want to know let me know and I'll see if I can remember.

 

I'm pretty sure the jav model thumbs are somwhere in the yakuza0 files. Can't remember exactly where though.

 

To edit the names, you'd need to use a hex editor and edit the actual .exe (Pretty easy to find the names, it's just the name and and then "....." after in hex editor) like so:

Notice the "Joy", it was Luka Kanae. If you want me go into more detail, let me know.
although I forgot where the thumbs are for the models so that could take some finding.

 

Edit: Wasn't actually that hard to find/do: (Yakuza 0\media\data\2dpar\ui_e_unpack\surfboard\pjcm_image_video.par) just use image editor and slap your pictures over the top of the original ones and save as .dds.

It's a little different importing images into the game. You have to use "PARC-Archive-Importer" to inject them in. First, you'd edit the images, save them somewhere with the same names from the ones you edited (video_face_01.dds & video_face_02.dds) and then run parc, look for pjcm_image_video.par which is located "Yakuza 0\media\data\2dpar\ui_e_unpack\surfboard\" (which should already be unpacked) You'd select pjcm_image_video.par.

 

This will load the contents on the right hand side, click widen once it's loaded and then on the right hand side, load your two edited images in and press inject. Save as pjcm_image_video.par somewhere. (Desktop, for example)

 

Then close it down and re-open parc, but this time, open ui_e.par, widen and inject the newly edited/saved "pjcm_image_video.par" save the ui_e.par and place it Yakuza 0\media\data\2dpar\ (make a backup)

One thing though, I've been trying to turn the .usm files back to video files, I need it for totally academic and professional purposes! But I've had no luck with that, I managed to get the video but I can't get the audio to work with it. Do you think you could put the original videos up in dropbox or something?  Thank you in advance
