Bandits

Bandits are loathed by most and some say a scourge on the holds they occupy. However, there is another side to the bandit  story... a story often overlooked. and untold. Most of Tamriel is still reeling from the " Great War"  and it effects on the people who reside there and don't for get the "Red Mountain" story. There are many displaced people be it from war or.. loss of home from a volcano some of these I believe have become bandits.

Now this is not lore just speculation however there is in game named bandits and some you can even help "Mist-watch" after helping them they will no longer see you as an enemy. I believe the bandits are ex-soldiers, mages, refugees, farmers ect...

Their classes are diverse and hold to their specialty be it heavy armor and weapons to archers and light armor. I changed the bandits in game using this mod  why?... simple it changes hold guards, Foresworn,  bandits merc. ect.. to a uncapped level with use of weapons, magic spells, and armor allowed by your level whatever level you are so are they. Many stated this would not be lore friendly really?... only you can get stronger? .. You loot a boss chest at a bandit camp and it has a Dadric weapon so they have Dadric weapons but cannot use them they just use and iron sword ... sounds ridicules to me.... if found in game it should be made to be used by all... that would be lore friendly and realistic.

What follows is pictures of various bandits at some point I may include stats, specs and yes they have perks.

 more to come....

Bandit Defender: One handed weapons are choice with a shield.. they are not to be taken lightly in game even at range they are very proficient with a bow so distance will not help you with them. Close range or melee style they are at their best fully capable of brushing off your hardest weapon blow with shield and retort with a quick swing of the own weapon. Beware they can shield bash and carry perks to go with their fighting style. Most times these warriors wear heavy armor ... rare if ever do you see one with light armor... My speculation is these are ex soldiers and are the special forces of the bunch.  Fighting multiple Defenders at one time is not advised high health and stamina with the skills to back it up means big trouble for any who challenge them.

Bandit Ranger: Death from above .... bows are the weapons of choice for this class they are highly skilled archers that will rain down arrows on any foe with deadly precision and accuracy. The artillery of the group seen walking the parapets of camps, forts, and abandon castles also seen in guard towers. This is the first line of defense any unlucky person foolish enough to stumble into one of the bandits claims of property.  They wear light armor only as movement is paramount to what they do... they can move and shoot at the same time making them hard to pin down often dodging your arrows you shoot at them. Be advised rushing them does not make them defenseless they are very proficient in the use of melee weapons and will switch to them in close combat often dual wielding to make their attacks twice as deadly... be advised they often conger a familiar upon start of combat.

Bandit Berserker : The tank of the group heavy armor and heavy weapons are the mainstay of this group... This would be the second line of defense found in property claims made by bandits. These bandit have huge health and stamina you would expect from a heavy weapons expert often found with defenders and Blade-masters. They have crushing weapons with perks to match their devastating blows they are relentless and when paired with a Blade-master only one result usually comes .. death. Heavy armor is only thing ever worn as they have master skill level and perks in it.

Bandit Blade-masters: The speedsters of the group one handed weapons often dual wielding them is their forte .... seldom seem alone they are usually found in the company of Defenders or Berserkers. They use light armor only with perks to increase speed of movement and perk to increase weapon damage huge health and stamina for their stye can be expected. Often before an attack they will use a invisibility spell to get close as to not be noticed and then unleash a fury of one handed attacks and many include paralysis on their victims.  Pared with the for-mentioned they can over-come a large group in no time... Be advised they are master archers and masters at sneak it is my speculation this group was hired assassins at one time or another for what ever faction paid the most.

Bandit War-mage: This class of bandit is magic based and what would be considered the support group and uses a plethora of spells and cloaks most spells are master level destruction. Facing a War-mage you will be hit with lighting, fireballs, and ice spears at range it is also common for them to summon an Atronach to fight by their side making them formidable in battle. Also of note they will use ward spells to block your magic should you cast at them. Never found with mage robes of any type only light armor often leather or fur. War-mages have a large magic pool as well as health their stamina is low as they are not melee combatants. Be advised that does not mean they do not know how to use one handed weapons and often will in close combat dagger in one hand spell in other.... also note-worthy they have healing spells for themselves and their comrades ....and use them.

Bandit Necromancer:  The necromancer class is the congregation specialists reanimating anything near by including falling comrades. Much the same as the War-mage in spells and magic based cloaks. Expect to see draugr, skeletons, shades they can even summon dragon-priests making them formidable with all what they bring to the fight. Never in robes only furs and the rare occasion leather armor the have a huge magic pool as would be expected and have a large pool of health. Weapons use is not common as are seldom see using one if ever.

Bandit Marauders:  This class is the elite of all the fore-mentioned classes they can be anyone of the fore-mentioned classes just the elite version. Some notable differences with Marauders is they are only seen in heavy armor no matter their classes with perks for it. As would be expected these elite bandits bring master level skills in their respective classes and have huge health, magic, and stamina pools. Where Marauders get their skills is anyone's guess but perhaps they were at one time emperors guards, assassins, mercenaries, or just rouge warriors who were tired of following the rules. Be sure to be prepared when facing this class all things are on the table they will hold nothing back as they know no fear and know nothing of mercy.
