Khajiirah Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Hello Everyone, Khajii here! Now i need your help, i had this issue in past sometimes and now again. I did install some Mods but none of these Mods added or alteres Hairs or Lipsticks or COmpanions and NPC/s. So take a look at the screenshots, there you see my char has black lips, also my cait has brigther hairs tham before... Same counts for many many NPC's they all got black lipstick! I did use Looksmenu then to take a look at some of my saved face presets, and yes, much of them have black lips from a black lipstick! Anyhow a mod i have installed did alter my Lipstick 01 and Lipstick 02, but i have no idea wich one because i diddnt isntall any texture mods. So does someone know this issue or give me instructions how to get rid of it? Installing lipstick or makeup mods, als unisntalling such mods diddnt help.. Greetings, Khajiirah.
AWP3RATOR Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Which mod manager are you using, and can you post your load order? If it's not something obvious like makeup mods or LooksMenu Customization Compendium, it could have come from companion/npc overhals, etc.

It was the "PipPod" Mod, after installing and using this Mod, it changed the Lipstick Color of Lipstick 01 and 02 into Darker Lipsticks. And the Mod which changed Caits hair into glowing hairs was a mod called "256 different haircolours", i did use it before this bug occoured, but after i accidentially used LOOT, loot killed my sorfet load order, so i had to use Wrye Bash to take a look at my Savegames, to see the Mod load order i had before. But after uninstalling this Mod, her Hair got its old Colour back! So Black Lipstick Bug = PipPod Mod Brighter Haircolour = Different Haircolour Mod, after using Loot. Thanks!

Bizarre that PipPod changed the lipstick color.... I just looked at it, and it has no such edits or textures. though you may be using a different version or add-on for it?
Khajiirah Posted July 30, 2018 Author Posted July 30, 2018 Oh my, aww my fault it was PipPad! Not PipPod! After loading my Savegame my Character had Black Lipsticks, after unisntalling PipPad it was okay, i just did it again and yes, its PipPad Mod. Sadly thats why i cant use it anymore.

Random female npcs have black lips (Black lipstick from the looks of it, related to looks menu?) however, i do not have the Pippad or pippod mod. This just started a day or so ago after updating looksmenu, however I cant seem to find the reason behind it.

The only way i ever saw solid black lipsticks, was when i'm running LMCC and then install a conflicting mod like Atomic Beauty. LMCC relies on its changes to the human race entry - also the presets and NPC replacers designed with it installed - so any other mod editing the same entry needs a manual compatibility patch.
AWP3RATOR Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 PipPad does alter the Human Race record, and they offer an LMCC compatibility patch - so perhaps that was it. I haven't looked at it further. It's in my mod list for testing, but not something I use for play-throughs.

Yes the same i had too, there are several Mods which alter some records as Aficionado said. Also some Makeup Mods change the colours anyhow i guess. This Mod here i can assume also did cause this issue -> https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15379 - EoW - Makeup Colors.
