Guest Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Just a small suggestion. For oblivion, we have a technical support area for lovers, but we don't really have one for non-lovers technical issues for oblivion. People might be unsure as to where to post their problem. Perhaps this is unnecessary, but we can always delete the section if it isn't being used right? I'd be glad to look through and try to help others myself. Thoughts?
gregathit Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 That does sound like a good idea as most are either posting in the general tech help thread which is not really the best or some even stranger location.
Guest Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Great! So, do we need Ashal to make the section? Or do moderators have that power as well?
Ark of Truth Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Mods can do it but only if Ashal has given them the RIGHTS!!!
Guest Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 He's online now, quick! Someone grab his attention!
gregathit Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Only Ashal can create the subsections as far as I am aware. I petitioned him to do it when I sent my response post so please be patient. It does take time for him to do these things.
CrimsonOmegaLance Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 So I'm working on this mod and came across a slight problem... Does anyone know how to have a conversation with a dog, or statue, or a creature? In Skyrim, I know there are the Daedric Shrine quests where you have a conversation with the Princes, and you can talk to Barbas, the dog. Is there a way to do that in Oblivion? Please let me know. If not, I'll be working something out with just message boxes. Sure, it'll ruin the atmosphere, but it's better than only being able to talk to NPC's.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Only Ashal can create the subsections as far as I am aware. I petitioned him to do it when I sent my response post so please be patient. It does take time for him to do these things. Contacting him may take the time, but unless the board software is poorly made it should only take a matter of minutes max to make a new board, usually a dropdown menu and picking the usergroup access levels (or picking a template to use).
Ashal Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I swear I didn't note to do this then totally forget...
