Sims wont go to bed with spouse or partner...

So, I do have wicked whims and it works perfectly except for one thing, my sims, when going to bed to sleep, they don't go to sleep with their partner/spouse.

 

for example, one sim is asleep in her double bed, when i select her partner/spouse, he goes to the bed, but then stops and turns out he wont go to bed because his wife is in the bed. I'm lost and cant find the problem anywhere else.

Has the sim claimed the bed?

Sounds like their relationship prevents it. Perhaps some mod you have prevents it.
