I'm sorry, I don't comment the requests. I add them to the list on the bottom on the first post so they don't get lost. In this case your request was already on the list so I did nothing. I don't know when will be done.

Check the folder "meshes\armor\ebony\f" in the sexy ebony mod archive and in your skyrim\data folder. I'm using Silvist's remodeled armors and I had 2 files in that folder (cuirass_0 & _1). In the archive there are 6 files in that folder (cuirass, boots and gauntlets).

 

After installing the sexy ebony you should have these same 6 files in your "skyrim\data\meshes\armor\ebony\f" folder.

 

Try to reinstall. Or manually drag and drop the files from the archive to the folder.

Well that's weird.

 

Please check the size of the cuirass file. Same size as the ones in the archive?

If the sizes match, try to get the items through console:

player.additem 13960 1

player.additem 13961 1

player.additem 13962 1

 

I'm downloading Remodeled Armors - UNP version - Originally by Mak07 and I'd try to reproduce the problem.

 

Edit:

There is no esp file in the remodeled armors, so I don't see any conflicts.

 

I'm running out of ideas, stuff that I would try if I was absolutely sure the files are correctly installed:

- look at the files with NifSkope

- load skyrim.esm in CK, find EbonyCuirassAA, edit the female nif file to open the model window

- run tes5edit, filter formId 5b69c, look for conflicts

- do a windows search for "cuirass_1.nif" in your data folder, sort by date desc, open all with NifSkope

- uninstall remodeled armors

- post a screenshot of the contents of your meshes\armor\ebony\f, with visible file names, dates and sizes

On another note, I realize this might not exactly be something you wanna do but I would be really grateful if you could post or show me a tutorial on how to convert armors for UNPB BPP. I'm an experienced maya user and would like to convert stuff!

There are lots of tutorials out there.

I started with CherryHotaling's Modding Armor for CHSBHC BBP tutorial for 3ds max. It focuses on armor conversion with bbp, though not for the UNPB body

Also the Nightasy Tutorials are a must for armor creation for Skyrim and to learn how to use 3ds max.

I have a request for conversion from XiNAVRO's oblivion to skyrim conversions for his Oneechanbara Z gear and SChwertleite set to UNPB BBP. Both stated that they give permission to modify their mod as long they are given credit.

Oh how I hate it when those two sentences get included with a new update. I use about mid weight and hate the way max weight looks so I can only use the outfits you convert with weight slider support. It is a shame, but I still have gotten some good outfits from your work, so I have to say thank you despite that minor inconvienence.

the lighting on the new armor is kind of awkward. when I stand near flame, the armor covering the stomach portion becomes very dark

In fact I have conversions on hold for lightning issues like this one. Luckily this time is not very noticeable...

I've checked the original armor and also has the problem.

Does anyone know how to fix it, or where to look at?
