dankmemesxd Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Hello guys, I discovered that the body I am using is slighlty borked As you can see here (I built it in bodyslide, then outfit studio, then export to obj. and opened in blender trying to fix, hand gap also visible in bodyslide). So I want to somehow fix the hand gap because it annoys the hell out of me, even though its small, but once you know its there, its over. But I dont know shit about blender or how do I fix the bodies, so here is my question or request. I also tried to fix it in BS, but no success. (im noob there aswell) Help me fix this pls
GenioMaestro Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 need game screenshot, some, please, for see the problem.
yatol Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 you can't see there's gaps between hand mesh and arm above? that's because the hand bone from nif 1 isn't the same as the hand bone from nif 2 and weights for bone 1 with bone 2, that's dont do the same, so it doesn't match the other mesh that is weight for bone 2 with bone 2 join both meshes (after giving them a material, keep one meshe for hand and one for body) edit mod select the vertice from hand and the one from body merge repeat until the turn is done export .obj (if you have import .obj, there's no weights on that) go to nitrishape of body nif import .obj on that same for hands no more gaps (there should be one on the feets too, it's just harder to see because it move less)

I managed to join the hand and body mesh and merged the vertices on centre. The gaps were gone from the outside, but from the inside they were there, but I guess it doesnt matter if I cant see it from the outside. But I cant, dont know, how to turn the exported .obj into .nif again... So is it a good move that I exported files from bodyslide as .obj and opened them in blender or I should try to open them as nif files in blender? (What is another headache for me).

So exporting the body, hands and feet from outfit studio into an .obj is good? Then joining the hand, body meshes (also body, feet) and then merging the vertices to centre is also good? And then I should open nifskope and the old .nif file of the body and then somehow import the .obj into the .nif file? And separetly for body and hands and feet? Did I get you right? Yet again, sorry if I just repeat your words or mistake something, I recently started all the fun with blender and nifskope so I do not exactly know a lot about this stuff. Thank you for your patience!
