WickedCSGO Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Do we have a mega download directory or something of all the animations. As it gets difficult to download all of them and their required mods. I will do this if I get permission to do so from a staff member or the animation creators. Thanks!
doan77 Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 There isn't such a thing, and you won't get permission
ToBeContinued Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Sure, its more time consuming to download each individualy, we are after all talking about Sims here, an open ended game. Impaitence with this game in any way, shape or form seems to be odd to have, How many trial and error mods I have tried? And what will you do once a mod is updated, will you also update? Anyhow the modders would never agree to such a thing. It is an option that would have been offered by now, even if we are talking grouping any sort of mods, sliders, clothes, furniture or room sets(that is more than one rooms worth), etc. No, not going to happen.
R-Lo Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Considering the effort and time taken to learn and create this stuff, downloading is easy and not time consuming at all to download from an original owner and help add to the download count, maybe even leave an upvote or some feedback, let us know how we can improve? Required mods only need to be downloaded once and the animation updates occur 1-2 months, We don't update in tandem or in sync, work around our personal lives when possible so to create a bulk folder wouldn't be of any use and would only make a mess of peoples folders as not all are mod savvy and may end up with a lot of conflicts, Currently everyone is responsible for their own folders and that's the best option, Although the animation list is long, not all are active and still creating so it's a one time download, it's just a case spending 10-20 mins or less to click, extract and drag/drop
Vengeance_11 Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Most animations don't require a lot, and even then the creator generally includes them in the download. A MEGA download would never be approved, mostly due to the various uploading schedules of some animators (some update monthly, others upload big files every few months) meaning the download could be vastly outdated within a month, but also because the animators wouldn't approve of having their own downloads ignored.
