If someone could post a for dummies version of the instructions I would be very grateful!

That should (is) be described on the mod pages of ECE and Racemenu. Actually, it depends on what you intend. This is not in your post - so do not be surprised if no one answers.

I'm using the game mainly for screenshots and the additional sliders would come handy putting finishing touches to chracters.
