Maybe even better to make this topic into some type of LL's Starbound mod index, like one for Lover's Lab mods index topic?

 

Potential idea for categories: Nude race edits, Sexbound mods and addons, Sexbound race patches and miscellaneous adult oriented mods

 

And will be great to tell admins or moderator to pin this topic after that.

Yeah sexbound API is done too since pc gamer did that article. Man I took this out to play with some pals now they are bored with starbound was gonna put it back in. All the sexbound patches and what not still work but the framework is gone even on this website. All the rest are still up I take it he got some threats or fake take down notices from uptight assholes over the mod should not of violated any modding rules I could see steam taking it down but patreon and this site should not have had an issue at all, and there is no User Agreement I know of saying you can't do adult mods, and if he was using patron that would be donations for his effort not his actual work unless he was selling sexbound API directly he violated no laws...

And steam isn't shaming nothing steam is covering its ass after the lawsuit over peoples kids gambling becuase parents didn't monitor them, steam now covers its ass big time to prevent more bad press and legal expenses. Its buisness 101 they either got toggle it adult with a age checker and disclaimer which I don't think that steam workshop has, or they got take it all down so some lazy mom doesn't get mad that their kid went and installed an adult mod. Honestly they shouldn't even be posted on steam till they get a disclaimer system up and running that works.

It was Starbound that posted that article they post stuff like that all the time I mean I bet the sales just got a nice bump for it, as people saw that and want to download sexbound API now.

Steam covered their ass with VN visual novels with nudity even  minor that were not flagged mature or adult, and tagged for nudity properly got notices censor, or shut down. Couldn't change the ratings since well they already sold the products to potential minors since the devs messed up on that bit. That way your kid buys it when it launches properly tagged and marked for mature or adult its not their fault anymore, but changing a rating can lead to parents arguing they bought a cleaner rating for their child, and got an adult game instead.

Patron does same thing I know a guy doing an adult game he had all the stuff done right to the T to the standards but he missed one pic of a slime girls nipples that was public, he was flagged as adult game maker, and had a warning it was adult content but any one can see the public stuff so their policy is only uncensored in patron only posts. He had his page taken down for a day till he removed the nipples then they put it back up for him.

It should still work, you just need to find the files, and make sure they are of the latest date depending on what mods you use.  For instance, the rocking booty muru mod won't work with the latest Sexbound API.  While the Felin sexbound mod would require the latest version.

 

Also, if you get aphrodiite's bow mod (to properly initiate sex), be sure to unpack it.  It seems to not want to spawn the bow upon command otherwise.

We don't know jack all we know is it got a but ton of attention now, and the mod creator went into hiding for whatever reason, and removed all his stuff. And if you know where the files are please freaking share I uninstalled it to play with some friends who use too many damn mods on their server, and I can't get back now that server is finally dead...

its not entirely done for. If some people still have the files such as the API and aphrodites bow then it can still be downloaded if they decide to upload it. kinda a  bad move since its not theirs but it will still allow people to get the mods required

Its not shuning its hot and cold some times they shun some times they promote it this was more of promotion for the games and the mods then shunning catch is if you are anti cartoon porn, or porn period and saw it well it directed you directly to the moders on this forum and other places so it got them good attention and probably an ass ton of threats and hate messages...

Like that guy who made babysitting cream I think it was that guy is still be hounded by puritans who attack his other artwork, and his accounts on multiple websites doing false reports sending him emails about how he will rot in hell, and should die a million deaths. Heck they even DDSed him a few months, as well as one of the sites hosting his work. I mean that guy has a shit ton of hatters.

You get on the wrong peoples radar normally they horribly stupid and bad at finding things till some one links an article about your stuff, and its just hell you can ban all their emails and accounts but they just make new ones to spam hate mail. I mean if this sight is gonna get that kind of back lash or not, but I know after the ban on loli content Hongfire got hit hard by some watch dog christian group who got a link by accident to I think rapelay that they hosted on their website. They started posing as lawyers doing paper terrorism telling them they were in copyright violation of their japanese games when there was no real copyright owner outside of japan, and it was clearly japans copies which can't be enforced overseas they had. 

It was long and brutal they had to do google links to the games from that point on with a spot on official game pages where it use to have a direct link to a torrent to a google search bar with more then enough info to get like 20 hits from japanese torrent sights who had the game up. Even that wasn't enough they got hacked and DDS attacked a couple years back I think, just barely recovered like late last year.

But I bet that is what spooked him some puritan faker probably sent a fake lawyer sounding take down notice saying he violated starbounds copyright or EULA and they were gonna sue him if he didn't take it all down. They do this shit all the time to people because well it works you stamp a real lawyers name you google up, and quote some real laws, and present it right and email it, and well its scary as hell to get. I mean to do it right you even include a fake number for them to call and answer it sounded all proper, and quote more real regs at them that don't actually apply but the goal is to seem so much like a real authority you don't question and instead panic and start bargaining with them

Like back when that happend in mass to people like hong fire I met a few who got letters like that and told them to reply back in kind with how you didn't break the law and to look up the lawyer, and call their main office number or threaten to. And that got a lot of them out of hot water. But issue is its a shit load of time and effort to jump through it especially when they attack your patron like they probally did, patron doesnt' want to jump through hoops and hire a lawyer just to verify legitimity they will just suspend you most likely most places do.

I mean hell I got a couple hack selling places in deep shit back in my MMO days becuase I saw they accepted paypal I just sent them a notice of the site breaking User Agreements with exact copy paste of it, stating that you can't sell assets for WoW for instance, since they also sold gold, and that paypal is supporting an illegal activity. That was enough in a couple cases to have paypal pull the plug on their accounts wich screwed them over. That stoped working after a while and a lawyer had to do it for the copyright holder later on.

But that is how you do it though you send a threatening letter that they are in league with a criminal and sound like you are a legit lawyer and some companies will drop you in a minute to avoid lawsuits, then forward the take down notice to you.
