PcPaper Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 There are a few people asking about mods for ARK, so there seems to be enough interest in making a mod to work with ARK. What would it take to get the ball rolling on this as a project? I've only just started learning how to code, but I'm a decent texture artist and I learn fast if a modder is interested in taking on the task and needs an assistant who's willing to learn.

Dragonoid Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 We got Conan Sexiles, working animations mod for Conan Exiles that too works on UE4 so i guess it's just a matter of creating sort of a framework or porting Sexiles to Ark. Then i guess it's just making animations and adding stuff to dinos. UE4 is pretty easy when it comes to stuff like this if im not mistaken. Looks like UE4 modders we have here are simply not interested.
cailic Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Ark already has combat strip. The Raptors tackle you. The mod, Human npc have it where the you can get knocked to the ground and disabled while they beat you to death (could be made more interesting). Npc's can knock you unconscious.... and beat you to death. There seems to a lot that just needs a little something to make this game a whole lot more interesting. Better bodies would be nice but I've seen worse.

KiTiTy Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 https://arksurvivalserver.arkers.io/ my server has uncut 2.0 here, i would have liked to use the fantasy mods but i hear they have compatibility issues with some things. i'm not sure how long i will keep this online if there isn't any interest, but there are no rules and it's there if you have the patience to let it load for possibly 1 hour for the first time to get the mods~
