Chastity belts, bras not showing up

Like the topic says. I'm using the devious batch of mods. Everything else works fine, but equipping chastity belts and bras don't show on the character. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I assume you did remember to make a run in Bodyslide after installing the devices. Right?

Did you check the Devices Underneath settings in the Devious Devices MCM?

Yes. Everything else shows up, except for these few items

Hmm I have not. I wasn't even aware that was a setting. Would it cause items to not show up? I'll check it after work.

Yes. By default chastity bras and belts (as well as nipple piercings and corsets/harnesses) will be invisible if you're also wearing anything in the main body slot (as in clothing or a cuirass.) You can change all of that in the devices underneath pages of the DD mcm. Either find slot 32 and set the four lines beneath it to none (or any of the four you don't want to be hidden) or change the device hider's slot to none to disable the entire devices underneath system.

 

Of course, if they're invisible when you're not wearing clothing or armour then there's a different problem.

They're invisible at all times.

Interestingly enough, those were the only items specified in the "devices underneath" listing. All the other slots were disabled. Still, when I disabled those slots the items did not become visible on my character. And as I say, they're always invisible, not just under clothes...

Those are the default settings, with only slot 32 hiding anything. But with them always being invisible it's not the device hider causing it, no.

 

I can only think that something went wrong when you were building the meshes in bodyslide. It's probably worth trying it again, and making sure you catch all the devices. If you're using DDa and DDx, and other mods like cursed loot, they're scattered across a few different groups, and some have options for hdt and non-hdt. With DD I normally don't filter by group at all and just disable everything I don't need from the list that pops up after clicking batch build.

Ok. Using your advice, Jim, I very carefully verified that all the mod files were where they needed to be. I seem to have found a few missing, and when I recooked with bodyslide, the missing items did show up. Thank you so much for the help.
