Is there a way to disable the restraints dialogue, the "[Restraints] Can I ask you something?"

I seem to remember it being in the MCM, and maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to find it

We have likely not heard of there being a bug like that. You'll need to be more specific and tell which item you are trying to open, maybe also it's ID to be sure it's the same one.

I was looking through the troubleshooting post, but it's not easy to see what is what there.

So many different files for DCL.

 

Anyway, the file I uploaded should be up to date with 3ba.

-Still untested in-game, may or may not have clippings and errors.

Not sure how this is happening but I got an idea of how it started. I recently got a new external HD cuz my old one was running out of memory and the first thing I moved was Skyrim but instead of uninstalling and reinstalling on the new HD and then using suggest to move deployment to the new HD (I use vortex) I decided to move it via steam and when it was done I had a ton of issues. When I managed to deploy I must've deleted a bunch of files from different mods and I had to reinstall all of them and now that I have I've set up SL and everything but when I came to DCL I cannot get it to work no matter what I do. It wont show up in the MCM, it doesn't even seem to load in the game. When I select Live another life and I go to use it It simply doesn't work. No cursed events happen its as if the mod was never loaded. Also another issue is certain mods like Laura's bondage shop cause infinite loads and Devious Carriages causes CTD whenever I load any save though I can still start a new game. I checked my game files and it is definitely deployed. I've tried this version as well as the DCL Beta and neither work. Any suggestions?

Ahh even worse now. DDs wont even equip when I try to put them on, Sexlab Animation loader doesnt show up in the MCM either. Should I just completely reset everything?

Anyone have any idea why Cursed Loot's Rape system would take forever to start the rape animations? It's been so long since I turned it off, I don't think I have any logs for it anymore.

Is it normal that only Leon gives me a quest called LEON

but Leah has no dialog that triggers any quest...

Is that normal and it starts later or is sth rigged with my mod?

It is normal as in Leon's quest Leah is used. And after complete you can trigger new quest with Leah.

Does anyone know the location code for the Slavers Den (i assume it's the alternate start location?) One of my raidant quests placed an item in there, but I can't enter it, since the normal overworld location is in it's place.

Hello, I am encountering a problem where when I disable a device in the MCM for this mod (like chastity bra), I still am getting those devices when triggering traps. Why is this problem occurring and how do I fix it?

i encountered a bug, whenever i try to equip a device that can be locked, my character doesnt equip it, it can equip a devious device item but not deviously cursed item. Any solutions ??

You might have some mod that is conflicting with item equipping functions. There was probably some mod like iEquip? Or you could just have some script issue that you should analyze deeper with papyrus log file. Look up how to use them if unfamiliar, it's very basic Skyrim use that was known before Loverslab even entered the Skyrim world.

i do have iequip installed, so what do i do now? disable it or find a patch or any other thing that i can do?

You can try to search for a patch but i have not heard of such existing. It could potentially conflict with more mods than just this.

There's a problem I run into with some frequency and I hope somebody can help me fix it because it seems impossible to track down on my own.

 

As I go along with DCL I'll eventually realize it has stopped firing, and then when I slam up all my percentages to 100%, it *still* won't fire. I will run a trial and will eventually get it to fire but very, very rarely - maybe 1-5% of the time. I'll go back to an archived save from dozens of hours past and it'll be working there, but obviously throwing away so much progress (and constantly testing to make sure it's working) aren't feasible solutions.

 

So my question is... how do I stop this from happening, lol. Or at least fix it - I've tried adjusting values (obviously) to no effect, and reinstalling is similarly pointless. I don't see this as a cited problem in the troubleshooting, so I'm at a loss. Any ideas appreciated.

 

Also, FYI, I am not on any DCL quests, and I even attempt to debug safeword fully before tests. The MCM also insists I have no quests running. Firing the 'Tie me up!' event works, though it ignores my device quantity parameters.

 

Edit: Further testing exposes that DCL just seems to be having a *really* hard time remembering which events can even fire. The only two events it will fire consistently are a skooma whore event (gas trap, I think) and a masturbation animation that leads with 'You find yourself irresistable...' which I'm not even sure comes from DCL. So it is successfully running events 100% of the time, I think, but the weights on those events are low enough they rarely actually get picked. The problem is that none of the other weights seem to matter, now, and changing them doesn't impact the events that will fire.

 

I thought it was maybe just the DDs that weren't working, but with enough perseverance they will eventually be applied. Removing Gas Traps allowed other events to fire (but more rarely than the 100% implies). Reloading, resetting, etc. over and over seems to help make some other events fire, but the consistency is very poor and completely out of line with the Event weights.

 

Also: my arousal weight is 0! Though whether it's 1 or 0 seems to have no bearing on events, either.

Check in MCM minimal arousal requirements. If i remember correct there is 15 minimal arousal to trigger. With 1 or 0 events not trigger by default.
