About This File

About this Mod

----------------------

This mod distributes Apokrytia’s Luxury Collection into Skyrim’s leveled lists and outfit templates, allowing his armor to be found in loot and on NPCs. In addition, this mod adds enchanted variants of his armor, based on vanilla enchanted gear.

What does this mod do, and how so?
In a nutshell, the CIS series replaces items in Skyrim with “leveled lists”, which makes it possible for different items (such as modded content) to be spawned in place of vanilla content.

What is CIS?
The “Circulated In Skyrim” mods distribute items added by mods that are otherwise unobtainable in-game without the use of console commands or scary scripts. Many mods that add new items to Skyrim don't make them available to NPCs or lootable objects. The CIS series not only fixes this problem, but it also rebalances and adds enchanted variants of modded items based on vanilla content.

Questions and Answers
----------------------------------

Why can't I equip [insert Luxury item] with [insert Luxury item]?

It is likely a conflict with Armor Slots. All apparel uses Armor Slots to determine what parts of the body they cover. Improperly assigned Armor Slots causes portions of characters to turn invisible. To make the Luxury Collection equipable by male and female NPCs without causing this bug, I needed to modify the Armor Slots of 100s of Luxury items. This unfortunately reduces the mix-and-matchability of many Luxury items, forcing them to be treated like vanilla apparel. However, Luxury items which are crafted, found via lootable objects (such as chests and wardrobes), and purchased use the originally assigned Armor Slots. They can be mix-and-matched as originally intended.

What's New in Version 1.0.0 (The REAL 1.0.0)

Released

I uploaded the wrong file by accident. This is the "real" Luxury Collection CIS, which I spent a stupid amount of time on. Oops! The one which I uploaded is more like "Luxury Collection CIS v0.1 Alpha-edition" haha. It had a major problem, preventing me from working on it via Creation Kit. I made a totally new .esp, which I have now uploaded. It's like, nearly 20 times the size.
