INTRODUCTION:

Thanks for showing some interest in this mod. This is part of a much larger mod with many more features, however since I’ve never actually released a mod before I wanted to put out something smaller so I can hopefully learn from any mistakes in this mod.


What this means for you is that you will want a backup of your save game, and I apologise in advance for any hard crashes. In my testing I see no papyrus errors, and I have tested this in a brand new install on a different PC. 

 

 

 

 

FEATURES, OR WHAT DO IT DO:

 

 

First thing you will want to know is that only the packs named in the requirements are automatic, I haven’t scripted to read out of JSON files, I let Slavetats itself do that.

 

 

This mod when enabled will automatically apply as per settings you can specify. Out of the box it is only configured to apply stockings to female NPC actors, but the tattoo packs above are available via MCM to turn on as you wish. You can decide to have up to 6 tattoos per NPC, and through dialogue you can remove and prevent actors from having tattoos. Lastly, you can select an option to only use a single random pack, so a NPC will only have 6 Deviant tattoos, or 2 slutty tattoos etc. 

 

 

Note: if you allow 6 random tattoos and leave stockings on, yeah. I might put that on a list of changes, but for now theoretically you could end up with 6 stockings. Just change your settings, talk to the NPC, forbid and remove tats, then talk again and let them have tattoos to reset.

 

 

CAVEATS:

 

 

Obviously I’m new to the scene so at worst my scripts may not fire in your game.  I was unable to get the Slavetats multi-tattoo application working across multiple packs etc. Instead, there is a queue system whereby as you run around it generates tattoos for all the actors, then applies the queue, clearing it as you go. It’s also not going to work until your initial load order / scripts have all fired, so it may take a couple of minutes before you start noticing actors get tattooed / stockings.

 

 

KNOWN ISSUES:

 

There is a tattoo that turns players blue, I have added a debug that will name tattoo’s when added as I didn’t find which one it was but I’m fairly confident it’s in the Deviant pack so if you're worried leave that one off.

Edit: My apologies for an update purely to the description but I was not comfortable with the previous depiction of the mod I am working on. Work continues on my next project, and a major story rewrite has been completed in the past couple of weeks to remove lower quality writing as much dialogue was initially written as setup to what was effectively a learning experience rather than as a cohesive story.  Characters that were inconsistent are much closer to their planned behaviour.  I have removed the description as I may end up removing the "jump the shark" section and releasing separately since it was just a "what features never made it from Oblivion that I might be able to have a crack at" and has nothing to do with the characters in the mod. 


What's New in Version 0.1.0a

Released

In my screenshots I am using a filtered JSON file for the Belisario pack to prevent tattoo's just showing up on the feet of characters and show on the legs instead.  You may wish to apply this patch in your game, as otherwise you may wish to call this Smoothmoove Automatic Socks. It's a ...feature. This will mean you lose the socks only version of the stocking, ie. the feet tattoo. If I can work out how to specify body parts in Slavetats I may not need to filter the JSON in the future.
