Some of the women at The Broken Drum are on X-Change themselves, and once you know that, the bar reads differently. Originally written by **datdude69** in 2023 and rebuilt from the ground up for 0.25.6 with his blessing.

 

SHE'S ON SOMETHING, AND IT ISN'T BIRTH CONTROL

Any woman in the bar who takes a pill has a decent chance of being on X-Change instead. It is decided once per girl and settled for the rest of your save, so she is a person rather than a coin flip you re-toss every evening. You set how common it is in Mod Settings, anywhere from a few of them to all of them, and it applies to every bar girl in your load order whether she came with the game or with somebody's mod.

 

WHICH PILL SHE'S ON MATTERS

Basic, Breeder, Bimbo, Compliant or Show-Off. It is not a label sitting on her record: a Bimbo girl talks like one and does her makeup like one, a Compliant girl says yes, a Show-Off girl is dressed for it and much harder to bore, and a Breeder girl wants one specific thing and will tell you so while you are still deciding. And it wears off. Basic is the common answer and lasts a single day, which is exactly why she keeps asking you to cover the next one. The woman you met on Tuesday is not quite the same woman on Friday.

 

ONLY A BASIC ACTUALLY PROTECTS HER

The game already answers this and most people have never noticed. Basic is impossible to get pregnant on. Breeder is the opposite of that. The rest promise nothing at all.

So she will still tell you to finish inside her, and she will still mean it, and four pills out of five she is wrong about being covered.

 

SHE MIGHT LEAVE YOU ONE

Please her and there is a pink box on the nightstand in the morning, with or without an explanation depending on her mood. The first one is always a Basic. After that, sometimes it is not.

 

SHE MIGHT NOT ASK FIRST

Disappoint her and it goes into the water glass by the bed instead. You get a chance to notice.

What she reaches for depends on how she feels about you: a woman out to humiliate you picks a very different pill from one who just wants company. It runs on the game's own spike system, so your Spike
Payload settings are honoured, the intellect check is the same roll you get everywhere else, and turning off non-con turns this off completely.

 

SHE EXPECTS YOU TO PAY HER WAY

Invite her to the Electric Pickle and she rings back while you are getting your jacket on, because her current pill runs out around eleven and she is not spending the night at the Pickle in the wrong body. A hundred dollars. Your call, and she will remember either way.

 

SHE TALKS ABOUT IT

Coy if she barely knows you, outright if she likes you, and she will name the actual pill once she trusts you. Ask her opinion on X-Change and she answers as somebody who takes them, which is a
different conversation from the one the game gives you. If you are at the bar as a woman, girl talk gets its own version.

Tell her that *you* are on X-Change, using the game's own reveal, and she is far easier to tell than she looks. She may tell you hers.

 

SHE REMEMBERS WHAT SHE DID

Walk up to her as a girl afterwards and she will have something to say about it.

 

CONTENT FOR FEMALE PLAYERS

The whole conversation layer has a female route, and the reveal tie-in is at its best from that side.
The post-sex spike is male-only, because the game's own spike system is.

 

WORKS ON SAVES ALREADY IN PROGRESS

No need to start over. The girls are picked up the next time you walk into the bar.

 

PLAYS WELL WITH EVERYTHING

No base game passage is overwritten. Every hook is a tag or an advice wrap, so it stacks with other mods that touch the same places. Tested in a heavily modded load order alongside X-Fans, Bad Habits, LESBIANED, BLACKED and forty-odd bar girls, including sharing one passage four mods deep.

Girls with their own personalities keep them. Tiger still refuses you for her own reasons, and she keeps her own makeup look.

 

8 achievements. No media, so it is a very small download.
