X-FANS 2.0
A creator economy for X-Change Life

X-Fans turns the sex you are already having into a career. You record what happens to you, post it under a handle, and build an audience. The difference in 2.0 is that the audience is finite. Every subscriber you gain came from somewhere, and somebody else no longer has them.

The Loop

  1. A scene happens somewhere in the game.
  2. X-Fans records it, keeping the actual footage that played.
  3. You choose which clip leads the post and how to title it.
  4. Posting scores the video against four separate audiences.
  5. Overnight, subscribers move between you and your rivals.

You do not manage any of that scoring by hand. You decide what to film, how well you perform, what gear you bought, and how you sell it.

The Audience Is Finite
This is the heart of 2.0. There are four audiences:

  • Men - the mass audience. Straight men. The biggest pool and the hardest to hold.
  • Women - smaller, pickier, and it wants different things.
  • Gooners - volume watchers. Loyal to whoever keeps feeding them.
  • Fetishists - small, intense, and they pay attention to specifics.

Each pool has a real size, and that size scales with how many creators can serve it. Your slice depends on how appealing your content is compared to everyone else chasing the same people. Growth is not a number that goes up because you posted. Growth means taking subscribers off somebody who currently has them.

Unclaimed audience exists too, and it shrinks as the world matures. Early on there are plenty of people not following anyone. Later, the market has settled onto established creators and you have to take what you want.

A fame-scaled loyal core stays with you no matter what, so a bad week cannot wipe you out, and that core grows as you do.

Content and Appeal
Every video carries tags drawn from what actually happened in the scene: who you were with, what you did, what your body was doing at the time. Tags decide which audiences care.

  • Rolling appeal - your standing with each pool moves gradually. One great video does not transform you, and one bad week does not finish you.
  • The idle fade - a day with no post scores zero, and appeal decays. Disappear for a fortnight and you will come back to a smaller room.
  • Tag fatigue - post the same thing over and over and it stops landing. Rest a tag and it regains its novelty.
  • Signature combos - certain tag combinations have synergy beyond the sum of their parts. Find them and they are named on the upload screen when they fire.
  • Trends - the week has a mood. Riding it early pays more than riding it late.

Quality Is Not Just the Scene
A post's final quality is three things multiplied together:

  • Your performance - how the scene itself actually went, one to five stars.
  • Your gear - a phone films worse than a handheld, which films worse than a proper camera. Your equipment sets a ceiling on any recording.
  • Your acting - a skill that grows with use, and it lifts everything you shoot.

The same scene filmed by a beginner with a phone and by a practised creator with good kit produces two very different videos. Upgrading gear is one of the clearest ways to raise your floor.

Footage
A capture keeps the clips your scene actually played, in order. A solo session gives one, a blowjob gives two, a full sex scene gives several. On the upload screen you pick which clip leads the post, and that is the clip that plays in the feed and sits on your profile grid. Your page is built from what really happened, not from stock images.

Rivals
Seven creators share the platform with you, and they are not scenery. Each has their own audience, their own back catalogue you can browse, and a trajectory that changes over time: rising, steady, plateaued or declining. A rival on the way up will take subscribers off you while you are asleep, and the overnight report names them when they do.

You can poach right back. You can also work with them.

Alexia
Your stepsister notices the account. What follows is a three-beat arc that ends with her on the platform herself, starting small and climbing, competing with you for the same people. She has opinions about your numbers, and she checks in weekly with her stance on how you are doing relative to her.

Money
Subscribers are not an allowance. They are a multiplier on content you actually have live. A video earns while it is fresh and tails off as it ages, so a working creator keeps a catalogue rather than resting on one hit.

  • Tips - individual viewers pay for things they liked.
  • Title styles - a baity title buys reach on the night, and books the cost as retention debt that bleeds subscribers over the following days. Sometimes worth it.
  • Commissions - fans request specific videos and pay on delivery. Fill the request with a matching post and the fee lands on top of the normal earnings.

DMs, Whales and Services
Your inbox is a real part of the game. Subscribers write to you, and some of them want more than a video.

  • Whales - high-value subscribers who make demands and pay accordingly. Keep one happy and they are worth a great many ordinary subs. Lose patience with one and they walk.
  • Services - sell things that are not videos: rating photographs, sexting, and a girlfriend experience for the ones who want to pretend.

Live Streaming
Go live and the audience is in the room with you in real time. Two bars run at once, one for the crowd and one for you, and they do not want the same thing. Push too hard for tips and you lose the room. Take a partner in with you and the whole thing changes. Private shows are built around a single whale, an audience of one, with everything that implies.

Collabs
Book a shoot with another creator. You make an appointment, it happens on a real day at a real place, and when it goes out both of you gain from it. Subscribers move between you and your partner based on the gap between your audiences, so filming with somebody bigger than you is a genuine opportunity and filming with somebody smaller is a favour.

X-Con
A convention runs on Saturdays. Spend your energy on a panel, a signing, the show floor or the after-party. There are exclusive toys you cannot buy anywhere else, a leaderboard of creators to climb, hecklers to handle, and a hub where a collab can be arranged on the spot.

Being Recognised
As your account grows, the world starts to notice. Strangers clock you at the bar, the beach, the gym and the mall, and what they say depends on which audience you are famous with. Being known by the fetish crowd is a different experience from being known by everybody.

Settings

  • Competition - Standard, or Relaxed for a gentler market. Relaxed slows movement in both directions and protects more of your loyal core, so a bad week costs less. It is a kinder game, not an easier win.
  • Auto record - film scenes automatically where it makes sense, or arm every take yourself.
  • Request frequency - how often fans commission work.
  • Income scale - tune earnings to taste.

There is also a full achievement set covering the platform, the convention, streaming, collabs and the Alexia arc.

Works With My Other Mods
X-Fans is integrated with my other mods, so scenes and items from them feed into your account rather than sitting in a separate corner of the game.

For Modders
X-Fans exposes a documented API so other mods can join in: turn your own scene into a video with one call, register a tag with its own audience weights, register a signature combo, add a rival to the board, or contribute tags to any capture. See the X-Fans Modders Guide included with the mod.

What's New in Version 2.0.10

Released

X-Fans 2.0.10 Changelog

  • Fixed: comments squashed into a sliver on a video's page. Opening one of your posted videos showed the comment column crushed to roughly one character wide, with text wrapping letter by letter down the side of the screen.
  • Tested and validated on 0.25.6

X-Fans 2.0.9 Changelog

  • People no longer walk in on scenes that are not in your house. Filming a collab at Titan's flat could have your stepdad open a door he has never been through, and filming at the gym could have Alexia catch you there.
  • Mariselle scenes can be recorded. Filming her produced no video and no error at all, because she uses her own ending scenes rather than the shared one where recordings were saved. All four of her endings work now.
  • X-Con networking bonuses last three days instead of expiring the same evening you earned them.
  • Videos are no longer tagged with things that did not happen in them. A solo came back tagged as a blowjob and a creampie came back tagged as a swallow, because activity from earlier scenes, and in one case earlier that whole day, leaked into the recording.
  • Cards no longer say the same thing twice, so no more "Blowjob" sitting next to "blowjob".
  • Filming a celebrity is worth something. Mariselle's videos caption themselves from a bank written for landing someone famous, and carry a small broad appeal boost. A lift, not a shortcut: gear, performance and acting still decide how good the video is.
  • A dosed Bruce posts as Bree properly now. He now shows as @bree with her picture and a niche matching the pill, the tag follows the pill rather than always saying bimbo, and his clips are typed correctly instead of all being filed as solos. Reverts on his own when it wears off, with his subscribers and fame carried through.
  • You can collab with Bruce, at no fame requirement, so he is the entry-level collab. Not available while he is Bree or while his deal is running, and the parts of his scene written for your house are suppressed for a shoot at his. Previously unreachable
  • The livestream fits on screen. Two columns on a desktop window, with the video and every button on the left and chat down the right, so the actions are no longer below the fold at 1080p.

X-Fans 2.0.8 Changelog

Fixed: videos recorded on 2.0.7 played back black

  • Your videos are coming back. 2.0.7 changed how the recorder writes down where a clip lives, and got it right only when the game is served from the root of a web server. On a normal offline install, opened from a folder, it wrote down the whole path from your hard drive instead of the path inside the game. Nothing can load from an address like that, so every clip filmed while running 2.0.7 came back as a black rectangle in your library, in the upload picker and in the feed. Paths are now worked out relative to the game folder, which is correct on every layout: server, offline folder, or a subfolder.
  • Existing saves repair themselves. The wrong paths were written into your save, so fixing the recorder alone would have left everything already filmed dead. X-Fans now checks and repairs them every time you open the app. Videos that went black should simply come back the next time you open X-Fans. Nothing is re-encoded and nothing is lost, because the footage was never the problem, only the note of where to find it. If you never ran 2.0.7, nothing happens.

Rival fame is a live number now

  • Every rival's fame used to be frozen for the entire save. Bruce sat on 64, Jax on 15, Dante on 35 and Titan on 65 from the day you started to the day you stopped, and bar girls sat on whatever their traits worked out to. The one column on the Creators board that claims to measure standing was the only thing on it that could not move, so a creator could lose half their audience to you and still read as the same size name. Everything that quietly depends on it, like how hard a collab is to pitch, was really depending on a constant.
  • Fame now follows where a creator actually stands, measured as their share of the whole audience rather than their raw subscriber count. That distinction matters: everyone on the board gains subscribers over time simply by picking up viewers nobody had claimed yet, and that is not the same as getting more famous. So a creator only builds a name by growing faster than everyone else, and loses it by growing slower. Being on a run, or in a slump, counts for a little on top.
  • Reputation lags the numbers on purpose. Fame moves a point or two a night and takes about a week to travel half the distance to where it belongs, so one bad night is not a headline but a real slide becomes obvious well before you stop caring.
  • Everyone keeps their character. Each creator drifts within a range around the name they started with, so Titan is still the big name and Jax is still the hungry one after a year of play, instead of the whole board flattening into identical numbers.
  • Nothing jumps on existing saves. A run already in progress takes its starting point from wherever it currently stands, so updating mid-save changes nobody's fame overnight.

Alexia's rivalry can finally be lost

  • The scene where she turns up at your door pleased with herself was unreachable in every save ever played. Her attitude to you is read from the fame gap between you, and her fame was frozen at 4 from the day she joined, so the gap could never open far enough in her favour for that scene to exist.
  • Her name now climbs with her career, from 4 up to 80 over roughly three months, on the same weekly clock as the rest of her arc and moving faster or slower depending on whether she is behind you or ahead. She reads as climbing on the board the whole way rather than jumping, and once she has arrived she is on the same rules as everyone else, which means you can take her back down again.

You can see it happen

  • Creator cards and rival profiles show last night's fame change next to the number, in the same arrow style your own subscriber pools use. A night where nothing moved shows nothing.
  • The Overnight report calls out the moments worth knowing: someone becoming a bigger name than you, you becoming a bigger name than them, or a creator bottoming out with an audience going spare.

X-Fans 2.0.7 Changelog

  • Fixed: the UI was too small to read comfortably on large monitors. The app was sized against a 1080p window, so a 1440p or 4K monitor running at native resolution got the same tiny pixels on a much bigger screen. The app now scales automatically with your resolution — 4K at native scaling reads exactly like 1080p, with text, cards, and video all growing together and the layout keeping its proportions. If Windows or your browser already scales your display for you, nothing changes: the app detects that and stays at normal size, so nobody gets double-zoomed.
  • New mod option: UI Scale (Auto / 100% / 125% / 150% / 200%). Auto is the new resolution-matching behaviour; pick a fixed size if you want the app bigger or smaller than automatic. The setting persists across saves like the other X-Fans options and takes effect the next time you open the app.
  • Fixed: the same clip could appear twice in one recording. Repeating a position within a scene could show the identical clip twice in the take and the upload picker. The recorder removes duplicates by file path, but the same file could sneak in under two spellings depending on how the scene played it; all paths are now normalised to one form before the duplicate check, so each clip appears once no matter how many times or through which route it plays. Nothing to clean up on existing saves — past duplicates were one file listed twice, not extra footage, and new recordings simply stop double-counting.

X-Fans 2.0.6 Changelog

  • Fixed: error boxes and story content bleeding into the Alexia collab. Finishing a collab with Alexia dropped you into her story aftermath, which is written for a completely different night: motel-set prose, stepsister mood cards, and on a creampie finish, the entire Randy morning-after scene at the motel reception. It also reads story state a collab never sets, which rendered a stack of error messages right in the prose. A collab now goes to its proper ending: a short shoot-wrap-up at the motel  with different flavour for each finish, a small relationship gain, and a clean "Head home" exit. Recording, payment, and the collab wrap-up all work exactly as before.
  • Collab shoots are now consequence-free as they should've been. No mood cards, no story memories written, and a creampie on camera does not run pregnancy logic. Alexia's story manages her arc; a booked shoot doesn't fork it. Story scenes with her are completely untouched and play the original aftermath.
  • The Edging Challenge and Gluck-Gluck 9000 are now female-only. In a male body both stage challenges grey out with a "female creators only" note instead of offering scenes written for a body you don't have. The Main Stage Panel and Choker Blind Test remain open to everyone. (Also fixed underneath: entering Gluck-Gluck through a stale link can no longer charge you the 40 energy on the way to being turned away.)
  • Fixed: AI-written comments could quote internal tag names. With the optional LLM comment layer enabled, fans could echo raw data tokens in their comments ("even with the pill:Basic thingy..."). Tags are now translated into natural language before the model sees them, so a transformation video draws comments about the transformation, not the plumbing.
  • The LLM layer was re-verified end to end this release against a local Ollama model: setup through the shared Looksy config, generation, parsing, and the merge that always preserves tips, named fans, and haters.

X-Fans 2.0.5 Changelog

  • Fixed issues with 0.25.3

X-Fans 2.0.4 Changelog

  • Fixed an error I introduced that corrupted the acting skill causing errors on video upload and comission fulfilment

X-Fans 2.0.3 Changelog

  • Fixed: opening X-Fans could take a browser tab from ~800 MB to 4-5 GB. Every pending video's card mounted an autoplaying looping preview plus one autoplaying video per captured frame, so a 40-video backlog created 260+ simultaneously playing videos in a single render. The pending queue is now paginated at 5 cards per page (newest first, same controls as the feed), and the frame picker's thumbnails are dormant first-frame stills; only the clip you have selected actually plays, as the card's lead. Worst case is now 5 playing videos no matter how large your backlog grows.
  • Fixed: loading a save and then starting a New Game in the same session carried your entire X-Fans account into day 1 (handle, subscribers, the whole pending queue). New Game now wipes X-Fans state so the fresh start is actually fresh. The clip-discovery cache is deliberately kept, since it describes your installed mods rather than your save, and skips the new game a full re-probe.
  • Fixed: discovery could run twice at once. It kicks off when the app opens and again overnight, and a second kick arriving mid-probe used to re-run the entire probe storm alongside the first. Overlapping kicks now join the running probe instead.
  • Fixed: closing the game mid-discovery threw all progress away. Girls are now cached in waves of eight as they complete, so an interrupted run keeps everything finished so far and the next session probes only the remainder. The console banner now tells the truth: once per girl, not once per session.
  • Fixed: generated fuckbuddies streamed under their ID number. Inviting a base-generated NPC to stream showed lines like "83 finishing ends the night." The invite list and live session now read the man's real name and temperament from his own record, so it's "Nathan finishing ends the night," and his dominance genuinely drives how he behaves on camera instead of defaulting.
  • Added to Upload Tab:
    • Filter chips above the queue: All, one chip per content type you actually have pending (with counts), and a Commission-ready chip that shows only videos able to settle an open request right now. It uses the same matcher as the "Post as commission" button, so the two can never disagree.
    • Sort toggle: Newest first, or Best first by projected stars, so your strongest takes surface before posting.
    • Filters, sort, and page all persist while you work; picking a filter returns to page 1, and a filter whose last match was posted or expired resets itself to All instead of stranding you on an empty view.

X-Fans 2.0.2 Changelog

  • Fixed: bar girls showing no videos on some installs. On setups where the game's host doesn't answer HEAD requests (typically file-loaded installs), every video probe read as a miss, so all creators cached empty even though playback worked fine. Discovery now self-tests its connection against a known file and falls back to a lightweight video-metadata probe that works everywhere. Affected installs re-probe automatically, once, on the next load.
  • Fixed: the Exhibitionist side effect can now actually be earned from recording. Two stacked bugs (an impossible condition, plus a type error hiding behind it) meant the "your videos are changing you" mechanic had never fired once, anywhere. Rack up enough recordings with an audience and it can now happen for real.
  • Fixed: film-permission asks no longer appear while a recording is already running.

X-Fans 2.0.1 Changelog

  • New Features
    • Modded bar girl support, fully generated. Any installed bar girl mod now works as an X-Fans creator with zero registration: clip discovery probes each clip family sequentially (bare name, then numbered variants until the first gap), resolving 97% of everything the 40 published bar girl mods ship, up from 49%. Girls with no partner footage at all (including the PCs as NPCs pack) now post from their universal orgasm clips instead of sitting inert on the board. A girl whose media zip is installed later is picked up on subsequent nights instead of being cached as empty forever.
    • Streaming tells you why. A risk pill on the live screen (Low / Moderate / High / Extreme, computed from the exact numbers the game rolls), an end-of-stream card naming which system cut the feed and what changes the odds, and a near-miss "wait was that a door" line in chat when a walk-in roll comes close.
    • Film button for public masturbation. Solo filming outside the house (mall, bar, gym, office, club, beach, waterfall, trail scenes) is now an explicit button, handheld camera required.
    • Decline and Delete. Fan requests can be declined and pending recordings deleted from the Upload tab. A declined DM commission releases cleanly.
  • New Mod Options
    • Comment Volume: Default (3-8), Fewer (2-5), Minimal (1-3). Smaller tiers shrink every comment source to match, including how many tip comments can land on one video.
    • Fame Gain: Default, Slow (66%), Half (50%), Crawl (25%). Scales every fame source (posts, streams, services, X-Con, recognition); fame losses are untouched.
    • Bar Girl Creators: Default, More (25%), Lots (50%), Most (75%) and All (100%). With this option if you have 100% male creators will only post male solo content as there is no non-creator content for them to pull from. Also this may cause lag spikes with a lot of bar girls installed. You have been warned.
  • The Recording Overhaul
    • The "it records things it shouldn't" fix. Root causes: solo scenes auto-armed it whenever a camera was owned as well as certain outcomes not disarming the recording
    • The recorder now starts off and is reset to off on every load, healing existing saves.
    • Solo recording is button-only: the upload screen's Record card at home, the new film button in public.
    • Every recording is bound to the route that armed it (encounter consent, collab, solo, milking), so a flag left over from an interrupted scene can never film something you didn't agree to.
    • If a recording is still armed when time advances, the scene never finished (walked in on, interrupted, gave up): the recording is cancelled and its footage discarded, and a stale "Permission denied" flag is cleared.
    • Recording starts at the moment of consent or button press, not earlier in the scene.
    • Route fixes: collabs now require owning a camera and work with either kind everywhere (a standard-camera collab used to capture nothing on girl scenes); the milking button is standard-camera only, matching its capture; the outside consent ask no longer demands the camera you left at home; the Record card only offers itself at home instead of teleporting you into your bedroom scene from the mall.
    • Videos of girl scenes, purple collabs, and the motel no longer erase what pill you were on, fixing pill tagging and commission matching for those videos.
    • Faking an orgasm now produces acting-scaled quality (2 to 4 stars by skill) instead of a flat 4.
  • Quality of Life
    • Feed pagination: 5 posts per page with Newer / Older buttons. Every card is a video element, and a full rival roster used to render a dozen at once, which hurt low-end machines. Your post archive now reaches back 25 posts instead of 5.
    • DM conversations autoscroll to the newest message, including after each reply.
    • Services show their state: a green or red dot with On / Off in each card's stats, and the toggle button now says the action ("Turn on" / "Turn off") instead of ambiguously showing the current state.
    • Service price bands: each service shows its price range on the card, the stepper stops at sensible floors and caps, and any save carrying a broken price (too high, too low, zero, or corrupted) is healed on load.
    • Settings Preferences card is honest: the Video comments and Difficulty rows no longer look tappable, show the real settings (Difficulty was hardcoded to display "Relaxed"), and point you to Mod Options.
  • Bug Fixes
    • The nightly simulation waits for signup. No DMs, whales, income, churn, requests, or rival activity until you have an account; anything leaked onto pre-signup saves is cleaned up.
    • Old DM threads from 1.5.8 or earlier are wiped on load. The 2.0 inbox couldn't read them; only new-style threads persist.
    • X-Con Shuffle Choker: the blind test minigame errored whenever the Shuffle Choker (formerly Cum-Cure) came up, due to a renamed internal id. It now appears and presents correctly as the X-Change Shuffle Choker.
    • Base game 0.25 compatibility: on 0.25 the entire app broke with "I can't call the number 0" errors from the second session onward, because saves silently drop the mod's stored macros and 0.25's loader never rebuilds them. All entry points now detect the dead state and rebuild automatically. (Updating the base game to 0.25.1 is still recommended.)
    • Fixed an init-killing crash on saves upgraded from pre-2.0 (the Alexia arc migration read a key before it existed, which silently broke everything defined after it).
  • For Mod Authors
    • $xfans_take_ctx binds base captures to their arming route; if your mod arms recording_active for a base scene's capture, set it to "scene". Your own captures are unaffected, and the base can no longer consume arms your mod set for itself.
    • auto_record is no longer read by the base game; if your mod uses it, it is your consent surface.
    • New x-fans mark take passage stamps the clip recorder at your arm point; new x-fans recording hygiene cancels leaked arms at time advance, so arm at your scene, not a day ahead.
    • All fame grants go through the new ($xfans_gain_fame:) macro; call it instead of writing the key.
    • Services accept "min"/"max" in their registration; DM threads must carry "kind" or be treated as legacy and wiped.
    • Bar girl authors: see the new Modders Guide §4.1 for exactly what gets discovered (name your clips within the base-name families, numbered contiguously from 1; media folder must equal your npc id verbatim). Clips JS is v1.1.0; GE.xfansClips.vocab is now {stage, bases} groups.
    • The daily_tick event is now documented; the nightly pass emits it after everything settles.
