Backpage 2.0.0 Beta 3.1 changelog

• New
  • Special pills in Pill-Man. Now and then a bonus pill drops into the maze. Grab it fast: Bimbo dazes the men into wandering, X-Tra Strength is a mega power-pill, X-Tend doubles your speed, Resistance is a one-hit shield, and a mystery dose is usually a gift and occasionally a curse.
  • Thirteen new tattoo designs: an X-Change brand mark, a raven, cherries, a ribbon bow, a koi, a collar band, and a set of pride flags (rainbow, trans, bi, lesbian, pan, nonbinary and ace).
  • A corset piercing, two rows of rings laced down your lower back.
  • Tattoos can go on the back of you now, on a proper front-and-back body map: the nape of your neck, your upper back, your backside and your calves. The black band can wrap your neck or a calf, and spread wings sit where they belong, across the upper back.
• Improved
  • Every tattoo design has its own artwork. The flash board is a tidy list, hover any design to preview it, and the one you pick is shown while you choose where it goes.
  • Ink & Iron no longer plasters your cash balance across every screen. Prices still show on each piece.
  • The piercing body map is cleaner, with the pieces spread out instead of bunched together.
• Fixed
  • Bookings could get interrupted partway through. A girlfriend experience that ended up in bed, or a sex meetup at his place, could be walked in on in someone else's home. Bookings are properly private now, start to finish.
  • Alexia turning up at his place. After moving in with a partner, her family-home scenes could still ambush you: the morning club-request and allowance beats, the evening outfit-gift beats, and the thunderstorm bed-sharing scene. They stay at the family home now, and resume as normal if you move back.
  • Downtown restrooms could strand you. If your handbag had nothing wearable packed, the outfit change offered only a link to the home planner with no way back. It now tells you the bag's empty and keeps a way out.
  • A pill wearing off right before a date. The date was silently eaten and the evening skipped straight to night. Now it politely rearranges for tomorrow and the evening plays out normally.

This is a huge addition, I've been playtesting this for the past several days, so it should be bug free but since its so large and with the cloned shell of the base house there maybe situations I have not accounted for which could cause issues. 

• Frontpage: the dating side (new)
  • A whole relationship half to the app, the flip side of escorting.
  • A dating app on your home computer: swipe through men, match, message them, and set up dates around Downtown.
  • Dates run on the girlfriend-experience engine and build affection. Enough affection over enough dates turns a match into a proper relationship.
  • Every man has a hidden type: the pill he secretly wants you on. His chatter on dates leaks clues about it.
  • Neglect a partner and their affection cools. You can juggle a few at once, but not for free.
  • Break it off whenever: through the app if you haven't moved in, or over an evening talk if you have.
• Moving in
  • Once you're committed and he's smitten, he asks you to move in. Say yes and your mornings move to his place.
  • His place is a full home: wake up together, shower, do your makeup, hair and nails, make breakfast (for you or for him), chores, laundry, TV, yoga, and take him to bed at night.
  • The family home becomes somewhere you visit. If it ever ends, you're the one who has to leave.
  • The pill, and "the read"
    • Frontpage only works while you're on a pill. Let it lapse and you're back to presenting male, and the app goes quiet until you're transformed again.
    • Once you live together, he keeps you dosed. Every morning your pill has worn off, your next one is waiting:
    • A partner with a preference hands you his pill. The first time, he asks you to truly become it.
    • A partner with no preference offers a long-lasting pill, or lets you ask him for a specific one.
    • Either way, refusing to dose is refusing him, and he ends it.
  • The read: a quiet deduction game. His date talk drops hints about the fantasy he's after. When he finally holds the pill out and asks you to be it, having read him right lands as anticipation and a big swing of affection; reading him wrong stings.
  • Taking a partner's pill now plays the full transformation sequence.
• Raven's club, The Roost
  • Her story pays off. Hang out with her after dark, build your bond through milestone beats, and eventually open a club the two of you co-own: a safe, high-paying floor to work, plus a cut of the house dropped in your lap every morning.
• The girls at the fountain
  • Catch up with the working girls in Aphrodite Plaza after dark: gossip, camaraderie you build over time, and the word on the street, where the money is and where the heat is tonight.
• The Love Machine: a Downtown arcade (new)
  • A neon arcade off the strip, open day and night. Buy tokens with cash, play the cabinets, win tickets, spend them at the prize counter.
  • The floor is split into four aisles by what a machine asks of you: Reflexes, Head, Nerve and Luck.
  • Nine cabinets:
    • Pill-Man: work a maze swallowing X-Change pills while three grabby men chase you down. Grab a power pill and the tables turn for a few seconds.
    • STACKED: the old block stacker, neon reskin, with somebody getting felt up on loop behind the playfield.
    • Before and After: twelve panels hiding six people photographed twice, once as the man they were and once as the woman they became. Put each pair back together inside twelve turns.
    • Know Your Girls: a cropped photo and four names. Eight rounds. The machine is confident you have been paying attention.
    • Makeover Machine: it names a look and throws four outfits at you. Five rounds.
    • The Bimbo Meter: two photos of the same girl taken at different points on her way down. Say which one is further gone.
    • Double or Nothing: win a pot, then decide whether to walk. Every push doubles it, the odds get worse, and the dancer on the screen takes something off. Push too far and the machine shows you something it should not.
    • High or Low: call the next card, bank your streak any time.
    • Lucky Capsules: a gacha machine, honest about what it is.
    • Prize counter: condoms, a plushie, cash-outs up to a $300 jackpot, and X-Change trading card packs including a guaranteed rare, all going into your real card collection.
    • Arcade machines give no XP. Tickets are the whole reward.
• Ink and Iron: a piercing and tattoo parlour (new)
  • Seven piercings and thirteen tattoo designs across ten places on your body.
  • Pick the artwork first, then place it on a clickable body. Hover any spot for the price and how it will read on you.
  • Placement has rules and the shop tells you them: a large piece will not fit on an ankle, some designs only belong in certain places, and one tattoo per spot.
  • Intimate work only while you are presenting as a woman. She will not do it otherwise.
  • Piercings come out whenever you like. Ink is permanent unless you pay for laser removal, which costs more than the tattoo did, and does not undo what getting it did to you.
  • Where it shows up:
  • The mirror, with 💎 and 🖋️ buttons listing every piece and where it sits.
  • 💎 and 🖋️ icons under your name, with tooltips.
  • Your presentation. Every piece shifts how you read on slutty, classy, cute, stylish, bratty and approachable, and where you put it matters as much as what it is. A neck piece is on show constantly and counts heavily. A lower back piece is hidden most of the time, counts for less, and says something quite different.
  • Reactions through the game. A man or a woman undressing you finds the pieces they could not have known about. Milking machines and nipple bars. A tongue stud during a blowjob. Your own hands in the shower, alone, or somewhere you could be caught.
• More of Downtown
  • Step onto the Bottom Dollar's bar floor to chat up (and take home) the women drinking there.
  • Random encounters can find you while you work a corner.
  • Every Downtown venue now has both a day and a night look, and shows the right one for the time of day.
  • Ambient sound across the whole district: the city hum, the bar floors, the cafe, each with its own bed of audio that switches cleanly as you move around.
• Backpage rates
  • Price caps on all three services.
  • Requests now respond to what you charge. A low escort rating with high prices means a booking every few days. Drop your prices and you will be busy.

• Working as a woman
  • The working-girl world is for the working girls. While you're presenting male you're turned away from Backpage bookings, working any corner, the gloryhole, the maid, barmaid and barista jobs, the plaza girls, Raven, and Frontpage dating, each with a word to come back once you're on a pill. You can still walk Downtown as yourself.
