Shea's Story-Act 2- Chapter 3-Return
In Riften...
Shea: Nothing of course it would say nothing. Did I just get baited into something?
????: Finally, you figured it out, exile.
????: Now lets get this over with.
Shea: Oh, another fool. A foolish vampire clearly.
Shea: Well if you insist.
????: Oh I insist on it. I also insist on winning.
Shea: Well lets see how you handle this.
????: I've trained against far worse.
Shea: Show me then. Show me your pirouettes and spins. I think I'll be quite entertained.
????: I'll put on a good show, don't worry.
????: Yargh!
Shea: A jump? Why do they always jump?
Shea: (Lets see how you handle this.)
Shea: Well, now things are turned around, lets get on with it.
????: Fine, each thing you do I learn something new. Enjoy the void.
Shea: Someone with that attitude doesn't live long, trust me I know.
????: I haven't lost for a long time.
Shea: Then prepare to lose.
????: Come on!
Shea: Only blame yourself for it, you chose the wrong strike
Shea: I thought you said you practised against better. Clearly not.
Shea: Now since you're quieter and certainly less proud, who sent you?
Shea: And if you lie, I swear I'll kill you right away instead of waiting.
Shea: Silence? Fine then. See how a cold bath will make you feel!
????: Enjoy this! (Scratches)
???: Stop!
Shea: Red hair, almost like mine. But who?
???: Who the fuck do you think Shea?! The one who you threw onto a boat to go to some god forsaken desert!
Shea: Aaa. You're back then. And you're still pissed about that?
Shea: Besides I've been busy.
Solomia: Fuck you!
Shea: Okay, a carriage...that must've been quite the hit.
Shea: And chained up. This isn't looking good.
Shea: Something I'm not exactly I fan of.
Shea: But I don't think I'm getting out of this anytime soon.
Shea: And these titranite cuffs aren't helping in anything apart from lethargy, Queen Orianna must really want me back.
An hour or so later...
Shea: So...why have we stopped?
Kywin: The horses need rest. And besides, it isn't really your place to ask as a prisoner. Even with the great Kywin as your captor.
Shea: Well it is my place, and besides I like to know where I am, even if I am a prisoner.
Kywin: Well I don't think you need to know where we are. All that matters is where we're going and that is...oh I wouldn't tell you anyway.
Shea: Well I wasn't expecting you to anyway. You are under oath are you not?
Kywin: And you'd be right.
Kywin: But that's none of your business, nor will it ever be.
Shea: Well since you're taking me to Raven Castle, where I'm going to face horrors and execution, I feel that I should get to know you. You might be the last person I see.
Shea: But have it your way, not like I have a say in this anyway.
Kywin: Yeah, you don't deserve a say anyway.
Shea: Fine, but it's your loss. You may as well get to know me. You trusted me enough to take the handcuffs off, why not to even just talk to me?
Shea: Suit yourself, even though I'm a great choice of company.
Kywin: Do you always talk this much?
Shea: Yes I normally do talk this much.
Kywin: Because I'm considering gagging you.
Shea: You could try it, but the only gags I like, aren't when I'm a prisoner.
Shea: Although you're free to try it. If you'd like.
Shea: Actually, I'd like to be comfortable before being gagged.
Kywin: You want comfort, do you?
Shea: Yeah if you'd like to.
A few minutes later...
Shea: This isn't exactly what I meant! Being cuffed to a chair is far from comfortable!
Kywin: C'mon Shea, we're almost across the bridge.
Shea: And there it is, where I'm going to die.
Kywin: I wouldn't expect you to die straight away.
Shea: No it is definitely where I'll die.
Shea: And I'm not exactly in a place to fight right now.
Shea: And I doubt I'll die with a modicum of decency.
Queen Orianna: You'd be right to trust that doubt. I'm already having a pike sharpened for you.
Kywin: C'mon it's time to face the music.
Shea: Hell, its been awhile since I've been here.
Shea: But why in the world are my markings not glowing? Wait...Raven Castle has titranite lined walls. A notorious metal that inhibits...magic. Well I suppose that doesn't exclude daedric magic.
Shea: Well, Orianna isn't very patient, and she hates me enough as it is. I better follow Kywin, quick.
A minute or so later...
Shea: I must say, I like what you've done to the place-
Shea: New banners-
Shea: And very new windows, if I remember rightly.
Shea: Marvellous really.
Queen Orianna: I take it that's your meagre attempt at humour?
Queen Orianna: Or if you're already trying to insult me.
Shea: It was probably both to be honest.
Queen Orianna: {Laughs} You're still exactly how I remember you, even when Destro had supposedly broken you.
Kywin: I advise you keep your mouth shut now, her majesty isn't in the mood for banter and jests.
Shea: I'll say what I want, it doesn't matter. I'm marked for death now.
Queen Orianna: You're right for once. You're marked for death. But the quickness of it is determined by what you say.
Queen Orianna: So I'd listen to Kywin.
Shea: You think I care how you kill me?
Shea: No matter what, my death will come. And then you'll have won. So it depends how quick you want to win this war.
Shea: So, cut the shit princess and do something decent for once!
Guard: Mind your tongue wretch!
Guard: Or we'll cut it out.
Shea: Well, that was very threatening, but missing a few things, like-
Shea:- The potential to actual do anything, I'm sure her majesty would give you a slap on the wri-
Queen Orianna: Silence!
Queen Orianna: I have had enough of your pettiness!
Shea: What's wrong? Am I starting to make sense?
Shea: That would be a tried and true disaster wouldn't it?
Queen Orianna: Now you're really making things worse for yourself.
Queen Orianna: Your trial is over. You are guilty of breaking two of our sacred laws. You have killed other vampires and have refused my calls. Execution is the only answer. And not even Molag Bal, will help you now.
Shea: Is this how justice is done here?
Queen Orianna: I hold the Raven Crown, my word is as good as justice.
Kywin: (To Shea) I warned you and you didn't listen, you deserve whatever you get.
Shea: Well, by all written laws I have a right to this. I demand a trial by combat.
Thank you for reading, I know this was a little shorter, but things have been really tiring for me and I haven't had the time, nor the energy to do a longer chapter, but I'm starting work on the next chapter and that one will be longer. But thanks for reading!
