Chapter 16-Walk of Punishment
I apologise for this half being short, I've been feeling really down lately. There's been some family issues, so I haven't been that productive. once again I'm sorry for that. Also a heatwave. But I hope you enjoy this half. Hopefully next half will have some more action and will be up on Saturday, if not earlier.
Start of Chapter 16
First Molag's torture, and now this. The pain wasn't bad, nothing could top Molag in that regard, still worsening was hearing that everything was falling to pieces. Every battle was won by Orianna and the Draconhams. Without me, it seemed the Queen and everyone at Raven Castle was doing a shit job at protecting their lands. Finally, the worst part was that I was being humiliated daily, the best swordsman in Tamriel, brought down through trickery. I suppose tales were spreading of my defeat. I dread what court would be like once I've returned. It could either be a lot worse, or people might respect me more. I suppose I might never know.
Orianna: I still can't believe it. You've beaten by me. Not only a lesser vampire, but one who has been plotting for years. I'm glad I got you first. I was worried someone else would. Now how were you to me? Violent, constantly threatening me. I believe you said 'I'll mount your head on a spike.' How times change.
Shea: Oh I promise, I'll fulfil that threat. I don't make empty threats.
Orianna: Remember a few days ago, the incident with the horse. You do know I could just call it over again and the whole incident would be relived, but personally I was thinking of something more painful, I think you enjoyed the horse a little too much. Maybe whips and canes might be better?
Orianna: I'm sure I'll manage with what I have actually.
Shea: You do know that this won't hurt me right. I'll be stronger than anything you can inflict on me.
Orianna: Keep on going and I'll drop you to the ground again, maybe I might put your head on a spike.
Orianna: I'm sure you'll need some rest for tomorrow, we're moving again. I want you broken, not dead.
Shea: Orianna, Bella, Rosa, Ilda...
A few days later...
Shea: Orianna, Bella, Rosa, Ilda...
????: What's with that list you keep repeating? It's really starting to get on my nerves.
Shea: Why do you care? I'm just here to be watched, tortured and probably raped soon, already had one dose of that, so get it over with if you're going to.
????: Is that anyway to talk with someone who at least has a little bit of sympathy for you, what am I saying, since I've been here all you've made are death threats?
Shea: For a really good reason too, you do know that every threat I've made, I've made sure that the act was carried out, so when I say I'll open your throat, you know I'm not lying and I'm just ready to pounce on an opportunity.
????: I'm sure you are, but with me many opportunities have shown themselves and you've refused to take any of them. Why?
Shea: One who kills while unseen is more feared than someone who makes an exhibition of their kills.
????: Good idea, but rather useless. You could've been free by now if you took one of those opportunities.
Shea: Free, only to be re-captured a few minutes later. I suppose at least here I can properly plot against my enemies.
????: I suppose that's true. Hmm. And what would you be plotting?
Shea: I don't tell just anyone what I plan to do.
????: Fine, I'm Vero. To those who know me closely, Vero the Virtuous.
Shea: Vero the Virtuous. How long did you want to be a vanguard of 'peace and justice?' Must've been from childhood at least. But if you're so virtuous, why are you helping traitors?
Vero: That's a long story, one I can't trust you with.
Shea: Worried I'll tell someone that the big bad vampire is afraid?
